Chapter 2

Rin's POV

I got up early in the morning and went to go get myself ready. After finishing, I quickly made breakfast.

Dad: " You're up again I see. "

Rin: " Yeah.... Here you go... And here's your coffee. " I said without batting an eye towards him.

Dad: " Thank you... Tell me Rin. Is there anything wrong at school. "

Rin: " Nope. Everything is just fine... Although. "

Dad: " Hmm? "

Rin: " I'm worried about Akane. I know she's capable of handling herself but, I just get the feeling that she's working to much and she's really stressing out. "

Dad: " Did you talk to her about it already? " I nodded.

Rin: " Actually. I've talk to her about it many of times... But,... I just get this feeling- " Dad got up from his chair and rub my head.

Dad: " You're not doing anything wrong sweetheart. You're her friend and it's normal for friends to worry about each other. If they don't then, they wouldn't be friends... If she's she said she's alright then, there's nothing to worry about. If anything comes up, you'll be the first to know and the first person she'll tell when she really need someome. "

Rin: " Thanks dad. " He nodded then, moves over and smelled the pan.

Dad: " Smells good. " He said as he was about to take a part but, I smack his hand with the spoon.

Rin: " No. This is for me and Akane's lunch for today. "

Dad: " *Sigh*... Oh well. I tried. "

When finished I ran out the house and down the shrine staircase than made it to the 5 o'clock bus then, ride that to the fourth stop to run straight to Akane's house.

Rin: " Akane... Akane... Wake up... " I said shaking her back and forth. " I know you're feeling better because yesterday you didn't come to school. And your mom let me in so- "

Akane: " Wiiiiiiiitch... "

Rin: " You see I knew you were awake. Get up. " I said taking the covers off of her.

Akane: " Do I have to go to school? "

Rin: " Yes! "

Akane: " I'm getting up, I'm getting up. " She said as she sat up rubbing her eyes. I looked at her cat eye as she was getting up. " What? "

Rin: " You're eye is adorable. " She blushed then, looked the other ways as she covered it. " Don't cover it. I love your cat eye. "

Akane: " Stop saying it's a cat eye! " When she gotbup and got ready, we walked yo school. I looked at her eyepatch. " What is it now? "

Rin: " I don't see a reason to hide it. It looks cute on you. "

Akane: " Stop that. No it doesn't. " She said looking away blushing. I laughed a lityle at her reaction. When we got to the school and inside the classroom, the bell rings.

Rin: " You see. Doesn't feel much better to be early than late. "

Akane: " I think either way, I'll still feel horrible. " The teacher came in the class as we began.

(Gym)

I past the ball to Akane as she went to slam dunk in the hoot.

Teacher: " Okay, Free Time! "

Nagisa: " Hey, Rin do you and Akane want to play some more! " I turned around to see Akane walkeing out of the gym and outside.

Rin: " Yeahh, I will! Aken went to go do something. "
