CHAPTER 8- HAVE THE CROWN PRINCE GONE MAD

Before Xu Bu tong could think of a retreating plan the crown prince who he wasn't paying much attention to had already stepped down from his throne chair and approached him, he took him by the hand and said "You can't back down on your promise to aid me with my cultivation improvement, you said a real and honest people never break a promise right?" Xu Bu tong didn't remember wording it like this nevertheless he really hated using his big mouth to make a promise over something he didn't know the entire situation of, he didn't like himself for making such a big blunder, Xu Bu tong couldn't retreat but also didn't want to move forward either so what should he do now.

"We are here" the crown prince turned to look at Xu Bu tong, anticipation, desperation and dependence could be seen in his eyes, his eyes told Xu Bu tong how much he hoped for him to succeed so that his extreme training scenario designs won't be a total flop, the crown prince eyes told him how desperately he needed him to prove himself, how much he depended on him to succeed, this way all just a ruse but in Xu Bu tong mind the crown prince looked very adorable so how could he have the heart to disappoint such an adorable creature.

Crown prince Xiongwei was very confident of his appearance, he hadn't met anyone yet that hadn't fallen prey of his acting skills, with such looks it was super easy for him to turn his victims head muddled. He was certain this person won't be any different, he could force Xu Bu tong to climb on that platform as he so intended but he didn't function that way.

"Young mistress Xu Zhi, all you have to do is remove your shoes and step on that platform"

Xu Bu tong didn't want to do that, he screamed within "This is not right?" however he didn't have the heart to voice out his grievances, he didn't want to look at his adorable face either because he believed if he did so, he might end up running over to that platform without thinking things through.

"Your Highness, if I may inquire what is the objective behind this particular extreme training scenario?" if he was going to do this, he at least had the right to know the benefits he might get from it.

The crown prince spoke two words only "Pain resistance" Xu Bu tong understood that this one was different from the other one he had shown him previously and its difficulty level was indeed less, after all, it didn't increase body strength or make one's skin durable and hard to get injured, its only benefit is to reduce someone's ability to feel pain.

After much thought Xu Bu tong decided to go ahead with it after all he had already made a promise and he will definitely keep his words because people from the Xu manor never back down from a promise made no matter what, moreover he choose to see this as a win-win situation because although it will be extremely painful by the end of it all his ability to not feel pain will increase, he really looked forward to that although there is also a chance that at the end of this extreme training scenario nothing changes, after all, the crown prince said that all these extreme training scenarios he had designed didn't do much for him and so he wanted to try it out on someone like Xu Bu tong and see if the results will be different from his, however, In the end the outcome of the result might just be the same.
