Normal

Floating
That's the only way I could describe the feeling of inhaling on top of the bleachers with Hannah.

She seemed normal
The typical girl who runs away from problems by distractions. I envy her, she didn't even think twice. She lit up, inhaled and rode it out.
Me on the other hand, I was rather stoned.
She giggled at my eyes and how red they were. To halt my paranoia she grabbed eyedrops out of her bag and told me to tilt my head back.
I guess this was a regular thing for her.
"All set" she said
"Now the rules Eli.  I don't talk to people at this school. I don't associate myself with people who don't fit my idea of a good time. Now if I hear that you're telling all of your friends about me, or I hear a rumor about me, I'll come for you. Understand? I like to keep the idea of me so low that nobody notices me."
Her words slurred and I was thinking of all the wrong things in that statement.
"Rules. Hannah you have nothing to worry about because around here, I'm not much of anything. I'm sorta the freak, if that makes you feel better. You chose correctly. I Eli promise to keep your name clean."
She winced at me.
"Well then if you ever want to do this again you know where to find me."
And with that she was off. I had so many unanswered questions..
Who was she? What was she? Her outside appearance did not match her inside appearance.
Intriguing and intricate.
I made my way down the bleachers once the coast was clear and went to class.
I now know why people do this
I could not feel a single thought and my head was clear. I felt normal.
Normality would soon end.
