Forbidden Love

CHAPTER. 7

David sew her go into her house and closed the door. David went upstairs to go to bed, he pulled the sheets back on his bed then climbed in and fell right to sleep.

Meanwhile Tonya walked in the front door quietly and headed upstairs to her bedroom and closed the door. Tonya had gotten undressed and got in her night gown before looking at her face in the mirror.

She was afraid how bad the bruise was going to be and saw a big handprint still on her cheek. She hated her mom for doing this to her and knew she couldn't forget it. Tanya went to the bathroom to wash her face before returning to her room and going to bed.

The next morning John and Sandra got up to take a shower, John decided to go down to make coffee while Sandra took her shower first  and thought about what her husband had said the night before.

John stepped into the kitchen, put the coffee grounds into the coffee maker and pushed the button on the coffee maker.

John went back upstairs to get his shower for work, when he got there Sandra was getting dressed and he went straight into the bathroom. He got undressed and stepped into the shower.

While John was showering, Sandra finished getting dressed and headed down the stairs. She entered the kitchen, got some coffee and a bagel with cream cheese.

Meanwhile upstairs Tonya was still asleep in her room, while in the other bedroom John was getting dried off  and got dressed for work. John was thinking about his daughter, how bad her bruise was and knew she couldn't go to work like that. 

John started thinking about what people would say or do if they saw her. When John was finely dressed, he went to check on Tonya.

John walked to Tonya's bedroom door and knocked on the door. When there was no answer, he opened the door and walked into her room.

John couldn't see the bruise on her face, because she was laying on the side that was bruised. He touched her shoulder and was ready to say her name when she turned over looking up at her dad.

"Yes dad, what do you need?" Tonya asked in a calm voice.

" Just checking on you, " John said with a smile on his face.

"Ok, but you mean you came to see my face," Tonya said as she rolled her eyes.

"Ok you got me," John said with a chuckle as he raised his hands in surrender.

Tonya smiled at him as John looked at her face and saw that it was bad." You better put ice on your face to take the swelling down, " John said.

"Ok, love you," Tonya said with a smile on her face.

"I love you too," John said with a smile. "Do you need any money?" He asked.

"No, but you can give me some if you like," Tonya said with a grin on her face.

John laughed as he handed her 2000 dollars. "Is that enough?" John asked with a grin.

"Yes," Tonya said as she took the money from him, but as John started towards the bedroom door, Tonya spoke. "Can I have three people over to barbeque and swim," She asked.

"Yes just don't leave a mess," John said with a smile.

"Ok, thanks," Tonya said with a grin. What John didn't know was that one was more then just a friend.

Her dad left her bedroom, closing her door and headed downstairs to get some coffee and toast. When he reached the kitchen, his wife Sandra started getting mad at him because she over heard them talking about him giving Tonya money.

"How did you hear us when we were not talking loud, unless you where standing on the staircase snooping like you normally do," John said as he glared at her.

"Yes I was, because you shouldn't be giving our money to her, let her work for her own money," Sandra said with a frown.

" It's more my money then yours and so you know, she has a bruise on her face that you put there and can't go to work because of it," John said through gritted teeth.

" What job!" Sandra yelled with a surprise look on her face.

"A job at a restaurant and a nice boss," John replied with a proud look on his face.

" Well she needs to hand it over to me when she gets paid, " Sandra said.

"Hold on you are not going to make her do that, it's her money," John said with a stern voice.

Sandra's face turned pitch red and she got really quiet. Sandra got up and went to put the dishes in the sink. Sandra then walked to the front door and her purse and keys.

She went out the door, to the garage and got in her car. Sandra backed out of the driveway and left for work. John sat drinking his coffee and ate his toast by himself till Tonya came down to the kitchen to drink some coffee with him.

Tonya got up to get her a bowl down from the cabinet. She put water and oatmeal into the bowl, putting it in the microwave to cook.

John got up and took his cup to the kitchen, rinsing off his and his wife's dishes. He put them in the dishwasher, John kissed Tonya's cheek and headed to the front door.

He grabbed his keys, opened the front door and went outside, closing the door behind him. John walked to the garage, got in his car and backed down the driveway.

He headed to work, while Tonya was just sitting down to eat and she couldn't wait to tell David about coming over for a barbeque and to swim.

Tonya had her phone on the table next to her, she was going to call him from her phone so they wouldn't find out his number or find out they where more then friends.

She decided to eat first and then call him at the restaurant because it would be easier. She could have more time with him before her parents come home.

After Tonya finished eating, she took her dishes to the kitchen, rinsing them and putting them in the dishwasher. She got done doing that and she realized that she left her phone on the table.

She went and grabbed it off the table and went to the living room to call David. Tonya didn't know if he could leave work or not, but she prayed that he could.

Tonya was about to call David, but decided to drive down to the restaurant and talk to him. She went upstairs to the bathroom and got undress then stepped into the shower. When she heard the phone ringing in the house.

Tonya knew it was the house phone, so she continued taking her shower then stepped out and dried herself off. She headed to her room and started getting dressed when she remembered about the bruise she had on her face.

She finished dressing and went to sit in front of the mirror to put on her makeup, trying to cover the bruise as much as possible.

She finished her makeup, got up and grabbed her purse and keys. She walked downstairs to the front door and stepped outside. Locking the door, she proceeded to walk to the garage to get in her car.

When she got there she opened the car door, got in and started her car. Tonya waited for it to warm up before she backed out of the driveway to the street and headed to town.

Tonya was driving when her phone started ringing, she looked at her cell phone, it was her mom calling her and she decided not to answer her call.

Tonya drove to David's restaurant and drove around back so she didn't have to see no one in the front of the restaurant. She hoped that David was in his office, so she didn't have to go anywhere eals.

Tonya went in the back door to David's office but David was not there, she decided to wait on him to come to the office. Then after a while she decided to text him and have him come to his office so she can talk to him about the barbeque pool party.
