CHAPTER. 8

David was out front with a customer when his phone dinged, he finished what he was doing and looked at his phone. It was a text from Tonya, Come to the office.

David headed to his office when he got there she had a smile on her face and was happy to see him this morning. David rolled his eyes as a smile formed on his face.

"What are you doing here, I told you to take some time off so that bruise can heal?"

"I know, but I asked my dad if I can have a barbeque pool party today with three friends," Tonya said with a wink.

"Ok, it's really slow today," David said, deciding to close the restaurant early so we can be there.

" Tonya's, " David replied with a smile on his face.

"Ok,now I see why we are closing early, " Jason said with a smirk on his face.

David rolled his eyes at Jason with a grin on his face. "By the way don't say anything about the bruise on Tonya's face," David said with a warning look.

"What happened?" Jason asked with surprise look on his face.

"Ask Tiffany I already told her," David said as he turned to leave.

"Ok," Jason said as he went back to work. David left the kitchen and headed to his office to get his paper work done.

Tonya sat in his office patiently well David counted the money and after he had finished, David decided to go get something to drink. "I'll go get it," Tonya said to David as she left the office to get two beers.

Tonya then returned to his office with the beers in hand. When Tonya got to the office she handed David one of the beers and sat down.

" Here you go boyfriend, " Tonya said as she handed him a beer.

"Boyfriend," David said with a raised brow and smile.

"Yes, I think of you as my boyfriend," Tonya said as she batted her eye lashes.

"How sweet," David said with a grin. "I think of you as my girlfriend," David said as he worked on his paper work.

Tonya's face lit up,as she didn't know what he would say until now and was pleased at what she heard. Tonya got up and sat on his lap with her arms around him, giving him a big hug and kisses.

Just because she loved him with all her heart. Tanya's heart was his and David's heart was hers and she was so happy she didn't care who knew it.

"I know I'm going to marry you someday, but not right now," Tonya said as she looked into his eyes. Tonya got off David's lap so he could get back to his work, but when she got up off his lap he had a hard on.

She didn't know that would happen and rushed to the couch to sit down, her face was red with embarrassment.

There was a knock at the door and it swung open to reveal Tiffany and Jason. "We're finished," Jason said with a smile. Tiffany noticed Tonya's red face and grined at her, causing her face to get redder.

Tonya hid her face in her hands, until the others had left the office and the door was shut. Tonya finally composed herself and her face returned to normal as David finished his paper work.

David thought they would have to stop off at the store to get stuff for the barbeque, but decided instead to take it from the restaurant. David and Tonya went into the kitchen to get the meat out of the refrigerator.

They grabbed some stake and rib's, putting the stuff in boxes, before heading out the back door. David put the meat in the trunk of her car and headed back in to lock the front doors.

Tonya was getting in her car and trying to figure who was riding with whom. Tiffany and Jason was already in David's car, so she shut the car door and headed out.

After locking the front of the restaurant David walked to his car and got in. David started his car and headed straight to Tonya's house, I'm happy to spend time with her outside of work.

When Tonya got home she pulled her car into the driveway, parked her car and walked to the front door. David and the others got to the front door and they all headed to the back yard to get the grill started.

"I'll do it," David said with a smile. Tonya and her two friends went to change, but realized they didn't have anny swimsuits and decided that they where going to swim in there birthday suits.

Everyone took there clothes off and jumped into the pool, except David who started to putting the meat on the grill. Tonya got out and went to help David with the meat, when David and Tonya finished putting the meat on.

They went to the garage to grab the ice chest to keep the beers cold as they swam. They put the beer and ice in the chest and carried it out to the pool.

David decided to run to his house and get swim trunks for him and Jason to wear, while Tonya went upstairs to put on her swimsuit and bring one down for Tiffany. " Why do I need to put this on for? " Tiffany asked as she held the swimsuit.

"It's to be safe if my parents come home," Tonya said with a pleading look.

Tiffany let out a sigh and slipped into the suite. "Ok, but what about the guys?" Tiffany asked with a raised brow.

"David should be back in a minute with swim trunks for him and Jason," Tonya said with a smile.

Tonya was checking the meat when David got back with the swim trunks for Jason to put on. Tonya and David jumped into the pool to swim, while the meat cooked.

Tonya realized they didn't grab anything to go with the meat. " Where are you going? " David asked as Tonya got out if the pool.

" We didn't bring anything to go with the meat, " Tonya said as she walked towards the house.

"Dam, I didn't think about that, do I need to go back to the restaurant to get some stuff?" David asked with a raised brow.
