Yuri stook close to Victor, and as much as he wanted to hold hands with the other man he was aware of the burning gazes he would feel on his back. Despite being engaged. He was aware of the opinion of others, the way they did not accept anything queer. Yuri dug his face deeper into his jacket, the cold air soothing yet unsettling all at the same time. Yuri placed his hands atop the duffel bag he was carrying; obtaining both his and Victors items for skating.
"Hey Victor," Yuri murmured, glancing sideways to look at his fiancé; half expecting Victor to return the gaze. Victor kept his gaze held straight ahead, but adjusted his hands within his pockets to murmur a response, "Yes, Yuri?" The question was dull, as if his mind was rather on something else. Yuri shrugged it off and proceeded to ask his question, "I was thinking—" Yuri hesitated as he hoped over a puddle upon the sidewalk, "would you still love me if I don't win? What if Yurio won? He did train under you for a bit technically speaking.." Yuris voice trailed off, his gaze slowly slipping downward so he could look at the ground. Regret tugging at him now that those words left his lips.
Victor could be heard shifting within the thick jacket he was wearing. "Yuri.." Victor breathed out, only for Yuris breath to hitch in his throat. The way Victor summoned him with his voice, it was breathtaking but similarly daunting. "Why would I not love you? We have been over this. I wouldn't trade you for anything else." Those words are genrally supposed to soothe the soul, although, Yuri wanted an answer about Yurio. What was to happen to the rather.. Edgy teenager.
"Victor, what about Yurio?" Yuri inhaled, his voice sharpening as it grew more louder.
Victor glanced back at Yuri and didn't strip his gaze away. "Yuri. Is something bothering you?" The question settled into his mind, it took a moment for Yuri to not snap at Victor and deny the claim that something was bothering him. Even if he couldn't wrap his finger around what exactly was bothering him. He knew it was something.
Yurio?..
No
Yuri shook his head. "Yes. But, don't worry about that now. We will discuss at home." Yuri glanced upward catching Victors eye for a split second but quickly returning his gaze to the ground.
"Hey you punks!" The call out seemed kind of distant. But it was loud enough for Yuri to dart his gaze upward just in time to get smacked with some sort of fabric. The sudden blow caused Yuri to stumble backward and nearly fall. Luckily, Victor swooped in. His arm wrapping around Yuris waist as he held him upward. The fabric landing somewhere on the ground.
"Are you alright?!" Victors stunned expression was told out to look more like an expression of concern and genuine worry. Yuri quickly nodded his head as Victor helped him back into the standing position he was in.
Yurios barking laughter could be heard a distance away. Obviously whatever was thrown was purposely aimed for him. It didn't irritate Yuri at all, although, the way his laughter echoed in his ears. That, is what irritated him. Yuri placed a quick kiss to Victors cheek, the other mans body blocking what Yurio could have seen. Victor flashed a smile before turning to face Yurio. Yuri crouched down and grasped onto the fabric. It was a T-shirt. Picking it up, Yuri unraveled it. It was the shade of black, something Yuri would enjoy wearing if it was covering in mud. Nothing was printed on the front nor back of the shirt.
Rolling the shirt up in a messy manner. He rose once again and followed Victor over to Yurio; who stood in front of the skating rink. Yurio of course ceased his laughter and glanced at Yuri before looking up at the silver haired man. "Of course you will be skating. I doubt it will be teaching me anything," Yurio scoffed, glaring at Yuri. Victor merely only flashed a smile to Yurio, "Good morning to you too."
Yurio scoffed before spinning around on his heels and stomping into the the skating rink. Yuri looked up at Victor, seeing the man smile and chuckle at the teen. "Isn't that beautiful," Victor commented and Yuri chuckled at the comment.

Yurio was already on the ice, the young man so graceful and breathtaking it was hard not to insult your own skill seeing Yurios out there on the ice. He had his hair tied back and was just skating around, not doing any jumps as he obviously hasn't been practicing for a while.
Yuri pulled on his skates and began to ensure they were on tightly. Last season memories flooding into his mind. Yuri glanced up at Victor, who was hesitating. "Victor, don't worry.. you won't get cut again, I promise," Yuri smiled and Victor nodded. His pace quickening with his preparation.
"Hey! Are you two love birds going to get on the god damn ice or am I going to just skate around like a dumb ass?!" Yurio called out from across the rink.
Victor chuckled, "Coming! Just wait!"
Yuri stood up, his skates on and his body physically ready. The stretches were done when they were setting up. Yuri glanced at Yurio skating around. He was so eager to get on the ice. Although.. he seemed so stiff, hesitant to even start his jumps. But when he did start his jumps he fell. Yuri felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Let's not keep him waiting," Victor commented and they slowly made their way to the rink. Yuri glided on smoothly and pulled Victor out with him. Yurio glided past quickly, and sneered before doing a toe loop, but falling on his landing.
Yuri slid away from Victor as his beloved began giving some tips to Yurio. Yurio only scoffing and continuing to skate around. Yuri closed his eyes and slowly began to retrace the dance he did. The one that took over Victors interests and made him search for him. The dance overflowed within his chest, the memories, the way he fanboyed over Victor. The ringing of the crowd. Until he felt a pair of hands on his waist, flying over the ice with him. When he looked up, he noticed the all too familiar face of the man he loved.
For a moment all he could feel was just him and Victor on the ice, until his ears nerves picked up the vibrations of skates scuffing against ice. The moment was silent though, and the way Victor remembered the dance was breathing-taking. "I love you, Yuri. The grace in your movements still need practice though," Victor teased and Yuri huffed, "I love you too, Victor."
