~Corrine~We slowed down once we reached the outside garden and then stopped.
"So...what made...you wanna fight block head... and his bodyguards" I said in between breaths. I'm sure my entire bloodline would be disappointed in me.
Especially since what I was supposed to be was fit, well trained, and never supposed to betray Ash.
"That guy is a asshole" he said calmly, he didn't even break a sweat.
I need to work out more. I was still trying to catch my breath, so I just nodded.
"So how did you get them to all crumble to you" he asked licking the blood off his lip.
A very attractive motion. It took me a minute to rip my eyes off of his lips that now have a smile bit of shine and red to them.
I mentally slapped myself and focused.
"Long story" I said looking away. No matter how much I rebel, I wasn't an idiot.
"So princess eh..that's an interesting name" he cocked a eyebrow and smirked at me. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. He seemed very casual for someone who was just in a fight.
"Not exactly it's Corrine but the block heads call me princess."
"I'm Alex" he said as he sat down on a bench. "Nice to meet you Alex... well it wasn't nice how we met but ya know you're nice...I think... not that I think your an ass hole but-" my ramble session was cut off when I heard his big whole hearty laugh.
I shifted nervously then sat beside him. Public or even speaking in general was not something I had strength in. It always depended on the situation.
"Wow so my superhero is a nervous rambler sweet" he smiled at me. I was gonna reply but I heard the running of what seemed like a groups of people, or more so a school 'gang'. "Um I have to go" I dashed down the garden and sure enough Ashton and the group came running in.
I crouched behind the tulip patch.
I watched and listened from afar as they talked to Alex. "Tell me where she went or I'll beat you again" Ashton threatened as he held Alex's collar.
Alex smirked and shook his head. A very brave choice for a boy that had just, from the small part of the fight I seen, lost to Ashton.
"I can't tell you were my girlfriend is that is boyfriend only type info" I winced as soon as he said it, that's not good.
With a snap of Ashton's fingers there was a makeshift ring around the bench and screaming fan girls with other kids who just want to see the fight go on.
I rolled my eyes at the ring. Ashton only fights in rings so every time there is a fight you can tell it's him because of the ring of guys blocking Ashton and whatever sad kid wanted a fight.
I always believed it was something he did to prevent the teachers from stopping him from taking out his rage.Ashton picked Alex up by the collar he held straight off of the bench. "What did you just say about my Corrine" I rolled my eyes and mumbled "So not yours".
I was use to this behavior I experienced it my entire life. I was raised beside Ashton. I never got to experience the joys of relationships.
Who is going to date the bad boy Ashton Waters princess? The girl who belongs to the 'bad boy gang'. If only they knew that this group of boys ran so much deeper than a simple bad boy school gang.
I turned my attention back to Alex and the idiot I've known as long as I've known myself, only to see Ashton's glaring at him.
Oh great his doing the 'anything else to say before beat any remanding identity of who you can be off of you' intimidation move.
I stood up from my crouched space behind the tulips and walked over to kids surrounding the ring.
I sighed dramatically "Move please" was all it took and a path broke for me to get through.
I would love this type of 'popular girl' power if I had it for a good reason not because I'm a 'princess'.
"Alright move it Josh" I rolled my eyes and looked into the ring to see Ashton with his grip getting tighter.
That is the longest wait to hit someone unless he is just waiting for me.
By the time it hit me that this was a set up Josh had already moved and pushed me into the ring. "Good that's what I wanted".
Ashton let go of Alex, pushing him into the bench, and walked over to me. "Come on princess let's go".
If I hadn't known any better I would've wished for a teacher to hurry and intervene. However I knew they were all on a payroll.
I glared at him and walked with him to the group of black cars. As the rest of the boys surrounded us.
One on the back and the other two
on each side. "Oh" I turned around and blew a kiss to Alex. "Bye babe I love you" I turned back forward with a smirk as the rest of the boys winced waiting for Ashton to blow his fuse.Instead he just laughed "Babe my ass" he said as we got to his car. He pulled open the door for me.
I looked at the door to him "I'm not going anywhere with you" I turned and attempted to walk away from the five. "Come on princess" Josh called after me as I keep on walking.
I am not missing second period. I jogged the rest of the way.
I stopped by the garden and surely enough Alex wasn't at there anymore, so I just went to class. Great I forgot this class is filled with the 'bad boy' fan girls.
I gagged a bit and shuddered but walked into class anyway. My seat was in the last row in the middle. Next to the fan girl bitchy, pardon my French, cheerleaders.
Cliche I know I know.
As I walked up I already heard her trying to whisper, but failing, about me. "Look who came to class I thought the slut was busy with my boyfriend ugh what a whore" they giggled and looked me up and down as I took my seat.
This was something I had become accustomed to. Like many things that happened this morning, it was part of my life.I rolled my eyes and started to write down what was on the board. I wants star student and actually had no clue what was going on.
They laughed and giggled about me the whole 90 minutes we were in the class. When the bell rung I stood and was the first to get out the door.
Accustomed to it? Yes. Did it still hurt? Yes.
Luckily I had art with Lily and Abby then it was lunch. I meet up with them at my locker and we all walked to art together.
I always loved that it's meeting spot was my locker. I could easily remember how to get there.
"You would not believe my morning" I said as they listened in. "After we left I assume Ashton didn't" Abigail glanced over to me.
I just nodded.
This wasn't the first time any of this happened. "Just give him a chance he is kinda smoking hot" Lily giggled causing all of us to laugh as we walked into class.
"No way he is not my type" I said as we went to our seats. Besides my daddy worked entirely too hard to here me from him.
The conversation would have went on until Abigail gave out the code 1-101 meaning someone one of our types was coming through.
We all looked at the door and it was, Alex.
"Speaking of another part of my crazy morning is that kid" they both looked at me like I was crazy then watched as Alex walked up to me.
"Mind if I sit with you guys...princess" he winked at me and smiled as I just shrugged. Subtle flattery is something I loved, but I knew Ash would nip it in a bud.
"Not at all" I swear. Lily passed out and Abigail was drooling just a bit, as I just tried to focus on the teacher.
