The last dance

(Y/n) PoV

It had been a few day since I had let eren help me with my mission and we had come up with a better plan than I ever have by myself ( if that makes sense ).

Flashback

(Y/N)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You had just been startled by eren barging into the house you were both staying in.

" I have just had the best idea for your mission" , Eren chirped

You turned to him with a curious look and smirked " are you going to tell me what your amazing idea is" you said as you got up and walked towards him.

"Well the king is having a ball and I just happen to have invites to this ball" he said taking a step towards you.

You looked up at him confused " how did you get invites" you said raising your eyebrow.

He looked at you with a smirk "I stole them of course" .

You searched his eyes for any sign that he may be lying but found no guilt " hmmm ok fine I will go along with your plan but I'm not sharing the reward " you said with a grin .

He looked at you with sweet smile " fine " he said .

Flashback over

(Y/n) PoV

I stood in front of the castle in my ball gown that eren had " bought" me but it was still quite beautiful.

Me and eren walked into the castle together and saw hundreds of people dancing and people just talking by the grand windows in the massive hall.

We walked down the stairs to get to the dance floor but as I walked down the stairs I made eye contact with none other than..................king Levi .

It lasted only a few seconds but it gave me a bad feeling but I chose to ignore it.

Time skip

Most of the night eren had been asked by millions of girls if he wanted to dance he accepted them all.

Not going to lie it hurt a bit but I just carried on with my mission.

I was stood there thinking about how I should get the job over and done with that is until I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned my head only to be met by the same cold gaze I had met not to long ago, it was Levi.

" would you like dance " he said holding his hand out.

I hesitated before nodding my head and taking his hand, he lead me out to the dance floor and placed a hand on my waist while the other was still holding my hand.

The music started and got faster and faster, I started to feel dizzy but kept my balance.

The music stopped I let out a sigh of relief but then everything went quiet I looked up and the king gave me a a cold glare.

I put my hand behind my back to unsheathe my sword that I hid in the back of my dress.

But the king already stood there with his sword ready and swung his sword at me but I quickly took out my sword to shield myself from his powerful attack.

But before I could make a move he called his guards to come restrain me and I was pushed to floor and brought to my knees.

I looked up at the king and gave him an evil glare before saying " how did you know I was here" I said my voice laced with venom.

He smirked and replied " your little boyfriend Eren jeager traded you in for his sentence to be wiped".

My eyes widened and locked eyes with eren I struggled in my restraints so I could break free and get to him but it was useless.

I bowed my head ashamed of myself for even thinking I could trust him.

" you will be put in the dungeons until I decide what I plan to do with you" he said with with an icy glare.

And with that I was taken away.
