Song bird

~Flashback~

The village was filled with her angelic voice as she sang on the streets for money to help her mother and father.

People gathered round the young girl as the song continued often cheering or throwing coins, the girl hadn't noticed that a cloaked figure was mesmerised by her angel like visage.

Her face shone with happiness as the song ended. She felt a small tug at her dress only to be met with a shy little girl looking at her with curiosity and wonder.

"T..these are for you" the young girl said as placed a bunch of daisy's in (y/n)'s hand. She crouched down to the little girl and looked at her with gleaming eyes.

"Thank you very much they're beautiful" (y/n) said softly "did you like my song?".

The little girls face lit up immediately after hearing her question "yes! It was beautiful I wish my voice sounded like yours" the little girl said with admiration.

(Y/n) looked at the little girl with a small smile and said softly "well if you'd like you could sing with me I've always wanted a singing partner".

(Y/n) was tackled by the young girl with a hug as she exclaimed "I would love that very much!".

"Well meet me here tomorrow and we'll decide what song we shall sing" (y/n) said while dusting off her skirt. The little girl nodded as she ran home with a smile on her face.

~Levi's p.o.v~

She was beautiful her (h/l) (h/c) flowed as she sang her (e/c) hues gleamed it was enchanting everything about her was magical.

As she finished her song I felt a tap on my shoulder "tch...what do you want can't you see I'm busy" I sneered not turning to see who it is.

"Why yes I can see your very VERY busy your highness" a cheerful voice sang. I already know who it is.

Finally turning around to meet the gaze of the speaker I spoke again " what is it Hange I'm really not in the mood".

" well if your done staring at that girl over there we have to get back to the palace you father would like to speak to you" hange said in a more serious tone.

" yes yes I'm coming" I said getting on my horse "what exactly does he want?" I asked hange.

She looked at me with that same serious look she gave me before which confuses me even further. I decided against questioning any further as it is probably quite confidential.

~end of flashback~

~(y/n)'s p.o.v~

I awoke upon hearing my cell door being opened it was dark so I couldn't see anything I could only hear footsteps quickly approaching.

I tried to back myself into the corner even more as I felt hands grab at my arms. I was hoisted up onto my feet still dazed as I was dragged out of my cell and through many many corridors and was thrown into a large room.

The room was decorated with blue and silver, paintings were hung on the walls of past monarchs the room felt so cold as the paintings eyes stared with they're cold dead eyes.

"Are you just going to stand there or are you going to come and sit down" a voice interrupted.

I looked down at the chains that adorned my ankles and wrists and stated  " well I can't exactly walk very well....." without looking at the person who had spoken.

I felt a cold hand grab my chin and was met with those steel blue eyes.

They reminded me of my mother so cold but so caring I was almost breathless- "tsk is there something on my face" said the king in his usual monotone voice.

Our eyes locked it's as if my heart had stopped for I had never taken the time to admire his handsome features before.
