King Levi x reader

ugh hes so annoying

(y/n)'s pov.

"ugh he's so annoying I can't believe this is what I'm going to be stuck doing for the rest of my life" i say to myself as i clean the marbled floor.

'ugh as if he has a palace this big and he doesn't own a single mop' i think to myself as i scrub the floors with the rag that Christa gave me just as i was getting into it i hear foot steps approaching rather quickly in my direction 'surely they'll walk around me they can see i'm busy'

i was sadly mistaken as a foot collided with my stomach and caused me to fly back and land on my side clutching my stomach and gasping for air.

i look around to find the culprit only to find Petra staring back at me with her evil eyes 'eww'          "can i help you" i spat acting as if nothing had happened as if this bitch hadn't just booted me half way up the corridor.

 she just stared back at me with that same stupid glare until she finally spoke "i don't want anything from you it just brings me to see you in pain" she spat back at me as she straightened up and carried on down the corridor with her dress flowing behind her.

as i stumbled to get up almost slipping on the wet floor i take a deep breath as the anger inside me boils "calm down (y/n) shes just a stupid princess she didn't even kick me that hard" i say as i cradle my stomach 'i would have punched in the face if my life wasn't at stake'.

"i think i'm done for today" i whisper to myself as i grab my things and head to my room.

                                                                                  time skip 

the light from the sun was slowly fading and my eye lids were growing heavier just as sleep was about to consume me i hear my door creak open "if that's you Petra i'm not in the mood" i say loudly to whoever had come into my room but there was no response.

i look up from my bed and see someone i wasn't expecting to see.

it was him.

his steel grey eyes met mine it was like i was entranced.

"i'm sorry to have disturbed you that was not my intention" he said quietly.

"its okay i mean its your castle your free to go wherever you want" i said with a giggle 

"i don't know why but i wanted to see you" he said almost under his breath while looking away    "well i'm not sure why you'd want to see me i did try to kill you haha" i laughed nervously afraid of what he might say next'

"i'm not sure either" he said as he walked towards where i was sat " oh uh please make yourself comfortable" i say patting the spot next to me which he accepts in a sort of shy way.

"i'm sorry if Petra has been giving you grief she can be difficult sometimes" he says as he looks at me i look at him with a confused look 'why is he apologising to me that doesn't make sense'

"It's fine i've dealt with worse believe me" i say with a solemn smile while looking into his steel eyes.

once again i found his face had moved closer to mine i could almost feel his breath on my face i saw his eyes move to my lips and move back to my eyes  he was so close yet so far 'did i want this' i thought to myself 'maybe' as i closed my eyes and waited for something to happen.

but nothing happened.

"ugh hes so annoying" i said to myself as i collapsed back onto my bed with a smile plastered on my face.
