Me and Sally had arranged to meet up in the woods. (Yes, the same ones as my 'dreams,' I don't actually believe in these things. Creatures & witches? I doubt it. I am much more mature to think those things where real!)
Sally is one of my closest friends, she was like family to me. I loved her with all I had.
"Hey noob." She greeted.
But sometimes she can be a right pain.
"Hmf, hey Sally! Don't call me that. I have a name you know." I huffed.
"Oh yeah you're right, ya plonker!"
"And what will your mother say if she heard you saying those foul words!" I spat back at her.
"She'll say, 'Ah, just like your father!'" We both laughed and made our way into the woods.
Like I said, I loved her. Even if she's a bit of a plonker herself.
"Hey Alice lets play a game!" Suggested Sally. She always wanted to play things, you'd think by 15 she'd be too old for games! But of course, I never denied because I too grow bored in these large, crawling woods.
"And what do you have in mind?" I rolled my eyes at her, in a obvious manner, to make sure she got the message.
"Hm, how about a gud ole treasure hunt; ayy!" She made a hook shape with her index finger, held it up to her eye and winked. She sounded, (and looked) just like a pirate.
"Why not. God nothing else better to do, right." I sighed. I knew most of her spots anyway.
"If you think this one will be easy, you're wrong! I found a new hiding spot." She smirked.
"Oh, so I'm looking for it this time..again."
"Well duh! You're better at it anyways." She stuck out her tongue. How rude! But that doesn't stop me from returning the favour.
"Okay, you go by that tree while I'll go hide this, uhm..." She struggled to find an object to hide. "Ah! This weird rock thing-y."
It wasn't really weird, just unique and colourful. It had sea blue and a salmon kind of colourful swirl on it.
"I'll call your name once I've hidden it!" She said as she turned round to make her way to her hiding spot. "No peaking!"
I turned round to face the tall tree she had instructed me to stand by. It wasn't very special, just tall and full of green leaves. Around it was small daisies and other flowers I couldn't identify.
As I was lost in my thoughts, time had passed and I heard Sally call my name. I guess it's time to find that wonderful little rock.
