Ashley:

I've known Columbus all my life. He's been my brother friend for a long time. I remember when his dad passed away and he use to walk around the house like he was hard.

I would watch him date girl after girl but he never looked at me. I was in love with Columbus. I remember I finally got up the nerve to tell him that I was in love with him. He laughed at me. Then he said jokingly.

"Girl you don't know what love is."

I'm only 2 years behind him and Ace but he looks at me like a child. Ok well I'm well and capable of being all that to him.

While I'm with my brother today. I'll show him that I can be a true woman and love him like he needs and maybe Ace will tell him. I just have to play my cards right with his fiancé fighting for her life.

I don't want to come off desperate. But in due time he will see. Walking up to this house is so funny when my brother has been with mama so long. I'm glad my brother is finally marrying Mariah.

She's a good girl and she deserves to be happy.

Ashley rings the doorbell and Mariah answers the door.

"Omg Ash. Come in."

She hugs her.

"How you been sis?"

"I've been great and you?" Ashely said hugging her.

"Awesome girl. So what's been up?"

"Well I transferred back here to finish my doctors degree. I'm with mom and dad right now but I'm currently looking for a place."

"Are you still single?"

Ashley sighed.

"Unfortunately yes I am."

"Why girl? You are pretty, successful, and got your head on right." Mariah said trying to boost her up.

"You know I've been in love with Columbus for a long time. I just haven't found anyone that matches him."

"Wow. You still into him huh?"

"Yeah I am. But his situation is so bad right now. With his fiancé being in the hospital I doubt he will look my way." Ashley said in a sad voice.

"If it's meant to be it will be sis. You talked to Ace?"

"Yeah. He came by this am to see us and told me to come over for dinner."

"Cool. Well he just called so he should be on his way or almost here. Just have a seat. I got to do my makeup and I'll be right out."

"Sure. Take your time." said Ashley.

Ace walked in the door and saw his sister sitting down.

"So you made it big head?"

"Yeah I did. You have a nice home."
