Chapter 18

Columbus:
Man I can't believe my baby is gone. This was not suppose to be like this. Seeing her lay in this bed with no breath in her is making me loose it.

We was talking about having kids after we got married. And now look. I cant believe this. I'm always loosing people that I love. It makes me just want to give up.

Ashely:
I know this is hard for Columbus. He has had a bad road this week. I want to let him know that I am here for him. Let me go and check on him as a matter of fact.

Ashley walks to Columbus and sit next to him.

"Hey you." Ashely said looking at him.

Columbus looked up and fell in Ashley's lap crying like a baby.

"Why man? This always happens to me. Is there something wrong with me?"

"No no."Ashely said.

"I know this is hard for you but I'm here for you. I will do anything you want me to just name it."

"Can you hold me?" Columbus asked.

"Sure come here." Ashely said as held her arms out.

Ashley stayed there and held him as he cried. Ace and Mariah walked in and saw Columbus and Ashley.

Mariah sighed and said "look Ace what are we gonna do? We can't let him get like he did before."

Ace said "I know. I got a plan for that. But from the looks of it Ashely is doing a good job consoling him."

"Yeah I know but you know he doesn't take loss well."

"I know and I'm gonna be there for my nigga no matter what." said Ace.

"I know you will baby. Let's go have a seat and wait on her parents to come."

Laura:
"Hey yes my name is Laura Crews and this is my husband Malcolm Crews. We are here to identify our daughters body."

"What's your daughter name?" asked the nurse.

"It's Angela Crews."

"Ok let me let Dr Mitchell know that you are here."

The nurse went to the office and let them know that Angela's parents was here. They came out.

"Follow us this way."

As I walked down this hall my heart got so heavy. I didn't expect this to happen to my only daughter. We was suppose to be planning her wedding day. Now here I am identifying her lifeless body. I can't believe this.

Dr. Mitchell:

"Just to let you kmoe we unhooked her from the machines but not removed them from her. We wanted you to come on and identify her and then we remove them."

"Ok."said Mr and Mrs Crews.

As they walked in and saw her body they both broke down.

"I'll give you guys some time ok."

Dr. Mitchell stepped out and sighed. He walked in the waiting room to see his daughter consoling Columbus and sighed again.
