i'm just gonna name all of my epilogues "ending scene" since it sounds so cool

"i can do this." in haesul's hands, she had all the letters she had written for her first love in one box.

her hands were shaking as she tried her best to knock on the door but they just wouldn't cooperate.

after all, it was the first time that she was seeing him in quite a few years.

she wasn't even expecting herself to ever do this but through extensive research, one of her friends had managed to get a hold of his address.

agitated at her boss' antics, arin walked up to the door and rang the doorbell that was obviously visible to anyone.

"what are you doing?" the older girl's wide eyes didn't faze her she simply replied,

"just doing what you were supposed to do three years ago."

in a frenzy, haseul left the box on the doorstep and dragged her assistant back inside their car as they watched the entrance.

just as the brunette predicted, seungmin and hyunjin did end up together as the younger boy kept his lover in his embrace.

arin looked over to her boss, scared to see what her reaction could possibly be but was greeted by a smile on her face with the scene unfolding in front of her.

as hyunjin looked around to see who could have possibly rang the doorbell, he noticed the box lying on the step all by itself so he picked it up.

there was no note or anything of the sorts.

"what is it jagi?" seungmin's voice had wavered as he was concerned about the fact that it could possibly be a ticking time bomb.

"no need to worry sunshine. how about you go get lunch ready while i figure out what could this possibly be?" though a bit of fear lingered, the red head complied with his boyfriend.

"alrighty then but if anything bad happens to you, remember that i told you so." hyunjin let out a chuckle at seungmin's retort before he gave him a kiss which was enough to make the younger boy do what he was told.

left alone with the box, the curiousity ran through his system as he cautiously opened the box.

inside were envelopes that had his name written in a familiar handwriting.

the curiousity was replaced with shock as he looked around to see if she was still there.

he noticed a car parked nearby so he peeked closely before the window began to roll down.

right before his eyes was haesul, an innocent girl who he had played because he was once ashamed of who he was.

she raised her hand and gave him a small wave before laughing at the shock that was written all over his face.

he returned the favour but was confused to see that there was no malice in her laughter.

how could she possibly not hate him after all he had done to her?

his question was left unanswered for now as the car began to drive away, leaving hyunjin stuck with his mouth agape and so many questions running through his mind.

he looked at the envelopes and hoped that they would provide him with answers before walking back inside his house.

haesul was finally free from the burden that was once placed upon her by guilt, pain and everything else.

all because she had let go.
