Brock's POV:
"All done, you've filled out all of the paper work, your background is clear, and your home is more than suitable for the boy. Congratulations Mr. Mason, you are now our little John Doh's legal guardian!" Exclaimed the social worker. "Thanks, when he can talk I'm really gonna have to figure out his name, if he even knows it."
I just finished signing the paperwork to get custody of the kid. Now all I have to do is get him discharged from the hospital. "I'm here for the kid." I say as I walk into the hospital. All of a sudden I hear a loud bang, and a bed pan is flying out of his room. "Sedate him nurse!" Yells the doctor,"I can't, he won't stay still!" the nurse screams. " Hey what's going on!" I yell earning a death glare from the doctor. " The boy is throwing a tantrum, and we can't sedate him." I look at the kid running out of his room. I take this opportunity to throw out my arm, catching him around his waist, and flinging him over my shoulder like a doll.
This kid is so small, I can't help but think. "Now Doc, before you stick him let me try to calm him down" I say knowing exactly what is going on, or part of it at least. " Hey kid you must be dying to get some meat into your system, am I right?" I ask, almost immediately he stops moving. " I brought you some clothes, these might be big but we'll go shopping for some new clothes for you tomorrow." I say tossing an old shirt and pair of pants of Nath's.Henrick's POV:
While I was leaving the strange place the people in white made me sit on a weird chair of sorts. When we got outside I stood up and was about to run, almost immediately I was caught by the man that found me. " Not so fast kid my car is this way." I looked at him as if I were a lost dog, what's a car? My mind wanders again, I'm all alone, my family's gone, my entire village is dead, because of me. As I stare out the window my eyes begin to water, I'm crying? I start to soundlessly weep.
Brock' POV:
I start to hear what sounds like sobbing, I look at the kid and saw him leaning against the window with his eyes shut and hugging his knees. "You've been through hell haven't you kid?" I say as I pull into the driveway. He just sat there, almost like he didn't know what to do. "Hey" I said, he looked up a me with sad eyes. "Don't you want to get out. This is my place." He nodded vigorously at the idea, but didn't seem to know how to get out. I got out and opened the passenger door and he slowly stepped out of the car. Looking, with a tear stained face, in awe at his new home.
