I look to my best friend of 17 years, and eye him carefully. "Are you sure you're ready for this Eric?"

He nods. "Of course I am Nik! Now stop being such a fucking pussy and start running! The rain won't stop suddenly." He chuckles as he watched me.

You see, I absolutely hate the rain, Eric on the other hand loves it. I glare at him, then take a deep breath and start running out from under the cover towards the car.

Eric rolls his eyes and calmly walks to the car and gets in. "Nik, the rain isn't that bad."

I was already shivering from the wet droplets of water that were now dripping down my arms. I sigh and wipe the rain off my arms before starting the car, warming up almost immediately. "Fuck you! You know I hate the fucking rain."

He moves back his now soaked hair with one hand, attempting to show off his muscles, but it only causes me to roll my eyes. "C'mon Nik, stop rolling your eyes, they'll go to the back of your head." He pauses then turns to me with a smirk. "On second thought, keep rolling your eyes. The more you do it, the more chance they have of rolling back, and the less time I have to spend with you."

I mock being offended. "Well I feel loved."

It was his turn to roll his eyes. "Yeah yeah, let's just go back to the apartment."

We both get buckled, and Eric plugs the aux cord into his phone. He puts on Luke Bryan, then starts singing. Awfully.

"M-O-V-E, I love it yeah, I love it when you get that deed. Boots on, stomp your feet. It's like you've been waiting on me to, Move like you do, All sexy and smooth. Like you love to. Oh, girl, look at you. Legs and your hips, Li--" He sang till I cut him off.

"Shut the fuck up! You cannot sing even if your life fucking depended on it! And if you do sing, don't sing about 'sexy dancing'." I sigh. "We both know that the dancing is my thing."

Eric frowned but stayed quiet on the way back to the apartment, just listening to the music as I drove.

Once we arrived I parked and got out of the car, Eric following me like a puppy.

"You can talk you know." I poked his sighed, but he just puffed air into my face and pouted.

I rolled my eyes and went up to the apartment with him still following me.

Once we got inside I went to my room and grabbed my dance bag, stuffing in shorts and a tank top as I knew I would get sweaty after dancing. I put on my maroon leggings, black crop top, sneakers and my snapback.

I exit my room with my duffle bag of extra clothes and exit my room. "Headed to the dance studio," I call out to Eric. "If you wanna come now is your chance."

Eric comes out from the kitchen instead of his room. "But we just got back." He pouted. "Can we go in a little bit?" He took a bite of the sandwich.

"No, I really need to practice. Also we just got back from lunch, how are you still hungry?" I raise an eyebrow at him, as I put my hair in a high ponytail, and put the snapback on.

"A man is never truly full." He smirked at me.

"Well apparently that rule is broken every thanksgiving and christmas." I sigh. "So are you coming or no?" I jingle my keys as I walk for the door.

"Fine." Eric mumbled. "You win this time." He followed me back to the car and we got in, heading for the dance studio. He angrily finished his sandwich as I drove.
