Moni looked down at Shawn, who was surrounded by 4 men and had 4 guns pointed at his head. She then looked up at Jon, who had his 9mm pointed at Harmony's head.

A small tear escaped her eye. Was this going to be the end of their little family? Were they leaving the world with a bang? If she survived, how was she going to live with herself knowing that her boyfriend and daughter died at the hands of a deranged lunatic? All of these questions filled Moni's mind.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted by a loud tire screech from the outside. Everyone whipped their heads around in confusion. Who the fuck was that?

Suddenly, the ringing of gun shots could be heard and a loud car revv, which sounded like it was getting near.

"Y'all get ready!" Jon ordered as he removed his gun from the back of Harmony's head and kept it pointed in whatever direction he heard the sounds coming from. "Shit is about to h-"

A large, white van unexpectedly collided into the warehouse, abruptly stopping Jon from finishing his sentence. And as it did, bullets showered the whole basement.

Instantaneously, everyone scrambled in all different directions, looking for shelter.

A couple of Jon's henchmen toppled over like dominos and some of them fired back at the white fan.

Shielding Harmony, Jon fired several rounds at the vehicle while in motion. Both Moni and Shawn were huddled up in a corner. Shawn placed both of his hands against the brick walls of the basement and firmly pressed his body against hers so that she wouldn't get hit with a stray bullet.

Moni covered her ears and closed her eyes as the stand-off continued. She couldn't watch this at all.

After 5 minutes, the firing ceased. The smell of gun residue replaced the horrid smell of urine. Gun shells covered nearly all of the ground.

Turning his head, Shawn looked all around the room to see majority of Jon's goons on the floor dead. As he looked over more to the right, Kit was laying on the ground next to Rick, barely clinging on to her life. She was shot two times— in her abdomen and chest region. Sitting up, Rick cradled her head and was murmuring in her ear for her to stay with him.

Moni opened her eyes to look at the scene upon her. She couldn't help but drop her mouth in both trauma and complete shock. This scene resembled one from an action movie, however, this was REAL life.

The driver of the van opened the car door and collapsed onto the ground. The man was shot 3 times, but survived. He was wearing an all black-ski mask with the letter J embellished on the forehead.

Rick, Moni, and Shawn looked in disbelief. Is that who they thought it was?

Jon got up from the floor and walked up to the driver, his gun steadily pointed at him. With his foot, he roughly dragged the mask off his face. It was Jah.

Everyone was surprised and shocked. How did he know where they were? Why did he show up? This was really a surprise to them.

"You thought you was popping shit huh?" Jon questioned rhetorically, placing his foot on Jah's chest. Jah groaned out in pain as the pressure from Jon's boot became more intense.

"I been popping shit nigga," Jah weakly coughed out along with blood. Turning his head in the direction of Shawn, he continued. "Nigga been down for me since day one, I can't turn my back on the niggas who been rocking with me for the longest, even if we fell out."

Shawn nodded his head in appreciation and a small tear escaped Moni's eyes.

"Aw, how cute," Jon stated sincerely. He then placed his finger on the trigger. "That shit weak as fuck. Rot in hell pussass nigga."
