Confusion (a Choni FanFiction)

'Hey what ya thinking about babe?'

A few days have past and no sign of Toni's dad. I was glad because her mood has picked up over the time.

This is the first time she's been out of the house since he turned up. I took us to pops told her I would buy her a
burger if she came. Haha she's such a
kid sometimes.

God I really think I love her...

"Hey what ya thinking about babe?" Toni asked pulling me out of my thoughts as she took a bite of her burger.

"You." I smiled drinking my milkshake through my straw staring at her lovingly.

"Oh?" She raised an eyebrow smiling back at me. "What in Particular?"

My hands began to sweat. Oh just the fact that I am most probably definitely completely INLOVE WITH YOU! My stupid brain screamed stopping my mouth from working. "Uhhhhh."

Toni chuckled seeing me flustered. "Mhm... was it sexy? That why you can't tell me?" She smirks causing my cheeks to burn. "Aww I'm making you blush!" She teased. "Don't worry you can keep your thought to yourself... for now" Toni winked before taking another bite of her food.

Great. Now all I can think about is... godddd!!!! I bit down on my straw staring at Toni millions of thoughts going though my head. Ffs.

Later:

We hopped back on Toni's bike my thoughts lucky and unlucky for me have gone back to worrying about Toni and her dad. As we drove the wind blowing out hair I hadn't even noticed that we weren't going home. Until we stopped.

"Huh. Where are we Cha cha?" I asked as she got off her bike offering a hand. "Thank you." I jumped off my feet landing on grass.

"We are at my favourite place in the city." Toni smiled intertwining out fingers and walking with me to the edge of the hill.

We over looked the entire town of Riverdale. It was quite and peaceful not like what it really is with killers, druggies and thieves lurking everywhere. It was actually really nice and with the sun setting on the skyline shimmers of orange, yellow and reds scattered across it.

I turned to look at Toni, her face was lit up and not just by the sunset but by
happiness. A sparkle in her eye that she only gets when she looks at me. It was nice to see she had another passion another thing that makes her truly happy. "It's beautiful T."

"Isn't it.... this is the only other place I feel somewhat safe. But it's not my safe place." Toni sighs smiling out at it.

"Where is?" I ask stroking my thumb over her hand. She finally pulled her eyes away from the view to me.

"You're my safe place Cheryl."
