It's been a few days since she's left. After Sarah revealed her mother's intentions and whereabouts, her parents  got into a fight. Apparently, her mother threw a lamp at him—which explains the blood. And now they've moved to another home. Her father wanted to move out of the state, but, of course, she refused.
So now they're getting divorced, and luckily,  she can go to the same school that she previously went to. Today's the 29th, and more killings have happened. The police are constantly interrogating Sarah, asking her what connections she has with the killer or the killings.
Now they're starting to suspect Sarah, herself, as being the killer. She thinks it's ridiculous, but she also can't blame them. The recent killing had the number 2 in their blood, and with her name, of course. She's getting anxious.
What does that have to do with her? What did she do? As far as she knows, she hasn't talked to anybody that would make someone kill somebody else over. Wait.. Drake. She did speak to Drake. And now they're friends, since they have been seeing each other lately. And he did choose her first as his partner for any projects.
He has been quite clingy lately. What if..? No. No, that can't be true. Shaking her head, Sarah walks into the school with her head down. She feels an arm snake around her shoulders, and feel her being pulled into somebody. She lets out a small yelp and pulls away, only to be pulled back in.
"Oh, Sarah. You're too cute when you're scared," Drake laughs. She instantly relaxes. Her face flushes when she thinks about what he just said. Cute. He just called her cute.
"I'm not cute, and I'm not scared," she tries to say confidently, but instead it comes out weak and quiet. This seems to make him laugh harder. Her stomach turns and her heart beats quicker.
Why is she acting like this? She's with Ben, she shouldn't be acting this way. Or is she..? Ben never did say they were official. Besides, all they did was kiss, it's nothing special. But she feels bad, guilty even. Ben did steal her first kiss, and she enjoyed it.
But she's never acted this way towards Ben. She's always felt as if Ben was more of a best friend, or even a brother. Granted, they did say "I love you" to each other. Shaking her head, she turns to Drake and smiles before walking to her class.
"Hey, where are you going?" He asks while catching up to her.
"Class. You should go too, the bells about to ring."
"Who cares? I have you, and that's all what matters. Come, I have something I want to show you," he says while grabbing her hand and starts running. She gasps and drops her notebook that she was holding. She runs with him and they end up going to the back of the school.
"Why are we here? We should be going to class," Sarah says while trying to catch her breath. Drake smiles and grabs her hand again. He pulls her in to him and she gasps before she feels his lips on hers.
She's momentarily shocked, and just stands there. Why is Drake Mather's, the hottest guy in her school, kissing her? She's just a weird, introverted, socially awkward lowlife trying to get through her school years.
Drake pulls away and his smile begins to fade. "Did you not like it?" He asks, sadness filling his voice. Sarah just continues to stand there, completely confused. First Ben, now Drake? What is going on?
"No I did, but I'm just confused. Why would you kiss someone like me? Everybody hates me, I'm nothing more than a loser," she says while looking down. She feels Drake grabbing her wrists again, but with incredible force. She winces at the pain.
"You're not a loser. You're beautiful, smart, talented, and absolutely perfect." She would be lying if she said she didn't fall for him right then and there. Before she can even process what she's doing, she is standing on her toes and has her arms around his neck, kissing him.
She feels him tense up, but kiss back. They leave the back of the school, hand in hand, mouths swollen, when the bell rings for second hour. Drake ended up asking her if she wanted to go out with him, and she said yes, obviously.
To be completely honest, Sarah forgot about Ben. She forgot that he had asked her to the dance, and that he stole her first kiss. But she didn't care, she was dating the hottest guy in the school, and the most popular.
She was ecstatic, to say the least. She had never been in a relationship before, and to be dating Drake, well, she was really, really happy. Girls gave her death stares, but she merely smiled at them. It seemed that Drake was happy, too. Or, so she thought.
                            {}{}{}
Her day was amazing. Until she saw Ben. The look on his face whenever she passed him with Drake was terrible to look at. Rage, betrayal, hurt, sadness, and many other emotions swirled in his eyes as he stared at them walk down the hallway.
She felt bad, but not near as bad as she should. Sure, she felt sad for him, but not enough to break up with Drake for him. All they did was kiss, it's nothing. Besides, she never felt anything for him—as she stated previously.
She could have sworn she saw Drake smirk at Ben when they passed him. And that was when a pang of guilt stabbed her chest. But she shook it off, and she squeezed Drake's hand tighter.
He held her hand tighter and leaned down to kiss her, and she kissed back. If looks could kill, she'd be dead in an instant, judging at how Ben was looking at them. She broke off first and told Drake she needed to go to class.
He gave her another kiss before she waked off, feeling happy. "So this is what relationships feel like.." she whispered while touching her lips with her fingertips. She squealed slightly, thinking at how someone like Drake could like her.
She walked to class with a little bounce in her step. Right when she waked inside the classroom, she could feel everyone's eyes staring at her. They followed her to her seat, and continued to stare at her until the teacher walked in. A few lingered for a few minutes, but looked away after a while.
Apparently, word of her dating Drake already got out. And pictures, too. Great. Sarah's happy mood changed immediately to sadness when she heard people whispering about her.
"She's such a slut. She dated Ben yesterday and now she's dating Drake."
"What? Poor Ben. I can't stand to see my baby be sad."
"You're not even dating him."
"I know, but I would so fuck that hottie."
"I wouldn't. He fucked Sarah already, and who knows how many STD's she's carrying."
"I heard that she's already fucked almost everybody in the school, even girls."
"I would believe that. She deserves to die."
"Have you heard about the recent killings with her name above it and some weird numbers?"
"What if she's the Halloween killer?"
"No way. She's too much of a pussy. Have you seen how she acts? She cries at everything."
"Do you think she could be related to the Halloween killer?"
"Nah, that sunnovabitch  would've killed her already."
"Haha, true."
Before she could hear anymore, Sarah ran out of the classroom. Tears were streaming down her face, ruining her makeup. She heard the teacher calling out to her, but she ignored him.
She ran into the girls bathroom and locked the door behind her. She opened a stall door and immediately screamed. A girl was sitting on the toilet, covered in blood.
//Gore warning//
Her neck was twisted at an impossible angle, and her one of her arms were torn in half, an axe in the middle. Her eyeballs were out of their sockets, dangling by a small piece of flesh on her cheeks. Her mouth was wide open, screaming a silent cry of help.
Blood trickled down her forehead, from where there was a huge gash in it. A little brain peeked out from the top, and blood bubbled from the top. Blood was splattered everywhere across the walls. Her legs were bent in impossible ways, just like her neck.
The other girls arm was gripping her phone, calling 911. Her finger hovered over the 9. It seems as if the killer didn't give the girl a chance to get help, and killed her immediately. Her stomach was wide open, her insides spilling out and onto the floor.
But what was most disturbing was her jaw. It was barely connected to her face. Just like her eyes, the bone of her jaw was barely hanging on by a little piece of flesh. The victims clothes were soaked in blood, and as always, at the top, the number 2 and her name in messy handwriting, Sarah.
Sarah screamed over and over again, while clutching her head and backing up. She hit the sink and sank down onto the floor. She slowly rocked back and forth, while crying loudly. She was practically tearing her hair out at this point.
She heard her teacher walk in and yell in surprise. He pulled out his phone and began dialing 911, and the whole class had started waking in now. Some girls screamed and cried, while the boys just cringed and tried to hide their fear.
But it wasn't the body that scared them, no. It was Sarah, who was helplessly crying on the floor. Of course, they all assumed that she had killed the girl. Within minutes, police had filled the whole bathroom. They escorted Sarah out, and tried to calm her down, along with a few of the girls who were also crying.
When they asked questions, all the students pointed fingers at Sarah. But it was ridiculous. She was there the whole class time, and only left when she ran out. And she was with Drake the previous hours. So she couldn't have killed her.
But she was too shaken up to even speak. Sarah's whole body shook uncontrollably and she couldn't stop the overflowing river of tears. The school went into lockdown, and everyone scurried into different rooms. Everyone except Sarah. She was too scared to even move, so they had to drag her into a classroom.
When she saw Drake in a corner, she immediately rushed to him and cried in his shoulder. He asked her what happened, but she couldn't say anything and continued crying. He patted her hair and rocked her back and forth, and told her to be quiet.
She calmed down after a few minutes, and finally spoke. "I walked into the bathroom, and I saw a dead girl. There was blood everywhere and the same number 2 with my damn name again."
Drake looked at her with shock and pity. He whispered sweet nothings into her ear while she started crying again. Eventually, they were allowed to leave. The police had left, and decided to shut the school down for a few days while they investigate.
They said they would call people in for questioning when everyone calms down. Drake ended up taking Sarah home, earning a warning and a few skeptical glances from her father. But he allowed Drake to stay, and explained what happened.
"Well, it was nice getting to know you Mr. Jackson. But I got to be heading home now, my mother must be worrying," Drake said while standing up to leave. He shook hands with Sarah's father and kissed her on the forehead.
"You better take care of my daughter, or you will be getting a taste of Betsy," her father warned. Drake gave him a confused look while Sarah rolled her eyes. "Oh, Betsy. My sweet old shotgun." Drake widened his eyes, and started backing away. But he just laughed and slapped Drake on the back a few times, and told him to take care before shutting the door. "He's a keeper."
"Oh, shut up," Sarah said while laughing.
