Bambi's POV

I clock myself in and start my shift at the diner.

"Morning Bambi!" Victoria, the other waitress, greets me as she walks in.

"You're late, again!" Smiling at her always, perky persona.

"I'm sorry, what is it that you wanted?" I apologised to the customer as I interrupted him while taking his order. The menu is awfully close to his face, maybe he can't see the menu clearly. I wouldn't blame him, the font on the menu is pretty tiny.

"Actually, I would just like a cup of coffee," he says with the menu still placed in front of his face.

"Anything else?" I reach out for the menu but instead he places a pack of cigarrettes in my hand and then hands me the menu.

"Oh, and I wanted to give your cigarettes back, you might want to buy a new pack," Luke smirked and I was two seconds close to smacking him with the menu but I refrained myself because if my manager knew I hit a customer I'd be fired.

"How did you know I worked here? Did you-" I cut myself off realising I was starting to yell and people were looking.

"Did you follow me?" I asked half whispering, half talking.

"Can I just get my coffee?" Luke snapped, I was startled by his quick change of emotion and left to get his coffee. Why is he always in a bad mood after I get a chance go say something? I walked back to the counter and placed his order. I walked to the back lockers and put the pack of cigs away, as it did have a couple left. I didn't care about the cigs, I just wanted answers. He just gets upset when I ask questions, I'm not sure why. I can feel myself getting furious.

"Hey, Bambi, who was that?" Victoria came up from behind me.

"He's no one," I half smiled at her and started walking back to the counter.

"He didn't seem like no one earlier, you were practically about to flip your top off when you two were talking," she followed me and it was getting annoying, I understand that she just wants to have a conversation right now, but I don't, not with her at least. She kept following me, asking me about him.

I stopped and turned to her, "He's nobody, okay?!" I didn't realise the tone of voice I used at her, she was becoming a nuisance, I couldn't help it.

"Jeez, okay. I just wanted to know.." she walked to a table to take a man's order. I walked back to the countertop to clean it up from messy eaters. I turn my head to look at where Luke was sitting and all that remains are a few dollar bills and change. I didn't even get back to him with his coffee. I expected him not to pay for it, but he still did. I still needed answers.

oOOOoOoOoOh, what do you think will happen next with Luke and Bambi?

Also, sorry if there are grammatical errors, Im kinda lazy to proofread haha.
