Luke's POV
I think I pushed her into going on a date, goddamnit. I'm pretty sure if I show up she wont come. Why do I always rush things? there's just something about her. I want to get to know her better.
I finally pull up to my driveway. The gloomy skies pour rain on me and hopefully this isn't how it's going to be tonight. I head into my kitchen to make a grilled cheese, but I find none of the ingredients for it.
The silence in the house creeps me out. I'm not yet used to living on my own. Since my parents have died and my older brother gone it's weird being on my own. Frightened by the vibrations from my cell phone, i pick up the call.
"Hello?"
"Luke, I have to speak to you soon meet me in my office," it was my manager. Thank god, it's early afternoon, this meeting better not take long.
"Yeah, see you in 10," with that I hung up.
I grabbed my keys and went to pick up Calum and Michael.
"Hey mate!" Calum said fastening his seatbelt. I gave him a slight nod and headed towards Michael's house.
"Are we picking up Michael?"
"Yeah, he wants us all there. He sounded like it was important."
I picked up Michael and some lunch on the way to management since I didn't eat yet.
"Sit down boys," John said. He's our manager, he's actually quite young. Managing a band at mid twenties is pretty sick. It's probably a lot of work, I don't think I'd handle managing myself or the rest of the band. We just do so many stupid things.
"I called you all here because you need to find a drummer for your band because you'll sound a lot better," he looked at us if we were okay with the idea. I mean, he is our manager and I think whatever he says should go right? He seems to know what he's doing..
Michael spoke, "I don't think it'll make a difference but I'm sure we can find somone."
All Calum did was nod, and we all agreed on looking for a new drummer.
"One more thing, once you find yourselves a drummer rehearse as soon as possible because you will finally have gigs all over Australia. I'll email you the tour dates and setlist."
