The next day went like any other school day. In the morning i wanted to look cuter than usual but then again, im practically a homeless girl. I grabbed on the new clothes i bought at goodwill yesterday, the top and bottoms. i curled my hair, and put on some lip gloss, i went in my jewlery drawer and grabbed out a beaded neckles that i had from a while back. I grabbed one of my old coats that i never wear cause it's not my favorite. but i goes with my outfit today. i went downstairs and was ready. I got earlier than anyone in the house because i went to a high school, and they didn't. i grabbed a bannana me and rylenn stole from the church. and ate it. i grabbed my bag, and left. today i was going to find a job, i needed some money for the savings jar and luke needed to get a better job. The school day went by like any other day. My friend Emma asked if she could come with me to the library because she wanted to study, a big test half of are grade was coming up. and i did have all A's except one class was a C- i needed to raise it up and the big test is coming up, so i needed to study as much as I can because i could get a scholar ship. We walked there, and got out are books. we did are homework, talked, and studied. Before i went home i stopped and seen a job opening for the daily book store, it was a popular store lots of people go there. I went inside and there wasn't as many people because it was only 3:00. I went to the front desk, there was a lady who seemed older, who was wearing a button up shirt that was blue and a pencil skirt. she had glasses on, and was reading a book. I walked up and said " Excuse me, i would like to apply for a job opening." She said in a quiet soft voice with a huge smile showing her dimples." Well of course come right in this room!" She took my hand and walked me to a pure white room, everything was white except a sign saying " Interview." She sat me down, handed me a cup of coffee and a muffin." I replied " thank you" She went into a folder and handed me a paper to fill out, with a purple pen" She said just fill this out, and you can come back tomorrow around 3? and check if you made it. I filled everything out. and went back out and handed it to her. I asked her " how much does this job pay ma"ma?" Call me Linda. It pays for everyday except the weekends only from 3-7 about 500 dollars. my mouth dropped open. Thank you! Is all i could move from my lips. I left in a hurry i went home it was already 6 o clock, its already 5? i have to pick up cooper! i walked to coopers school and he was waiting there. playing. " hey bud! sorry i forgot to pick you up, i was appying for a job." Oh thats good." lets go!" when we got home, everyone was in the living room. Luke had a huge smile on his face, " I have a job making 700 a week" its at a landscaping buisness. i told him everything about my job, everyone was happy! i told them we can finally get a house. Luke still had money we could use to get dinner, we got chinese food to go, and we ate at are abandoned house. I hated it here, we had to use someon elses water pump just to get water, we had to use lamps for light. and we had no cable. if you walked into are home, there was a old couch left behind in this house, a tv we bought from goodwill, and in the kitchen was a fridge, that only works cause were using someone elses energy someone 2 miles away and they don't even know. theres a stove but it doesnt work, we have a little plug in stove we got from goodwill. and then you go downstairs is lukes room he he has a bathroom, and then a little living area with his little clothes, and stuff he has like movies and a stuff that was my fathers. in lukes room there is a bed like mine that was left behind too, we could only fit 2 beds on are car wich was coops, and rys mine i bought at goodwill and lukes was left behind. then he had a dresser to hold whatever he has. and a lamp. Upstairs is my room, and then coops & rylenns. coopers room has his bed, a little bin with his clothes and in his closet his few toys are on the ground. in rylenns room is a dresser with her clothes she brought or bought from home or store. she has a little desk with her jewlery, or stuff from school and all of her girly stuff. We didnt have much here. But i think its going to change.
