After school got out, i seen someone standing right there right on the side walk. he was walking over to me. i didn't know what to say. I looked like crap too! It was matt.
" hey whats up stacey?" He said in his raspy voice. " uh nothing, how did you remember i went to this school? why are you here. not trying to be mean?" oh i remember lots of things. and i thought i would drop by, do you wanna hangout?" I can't i have to go to work.." I said. " Where do you work? i could drive you?" I work at the book store kind of by phillys." Oh you do? my aunt linda owns that place." Oh cool, i would love a drive thank you." I hopped into his nicely perfect car. it wasnt a long ride there only five minutes. i got out and thanked him. he said what about dinner later? i said sure.
Later after work, matt picked me up. he took me out to a pizza place, we ate and talked. i told him how much i wanted to go to college, and i told him about my siblings, and my parents, but i didn't tell him i was homeless. He offered to take me home, we fought about it for so long until i said yes, it was so risky. but i had too. he drove me, when we got there he looked at me.. with his eye brows raised.. this house doesnt even look like someone lives here, wheres your car? i replied " out back" all he could say was " okay:" Hey, Stacey i really like you. your a cool gal, heres my number call me anytime." Thanks, i will!" I said. He was leaning in with his eyes closed and his lips puckering out. i leaned in too, and we kissed. it lasted like 3 seconds but it was magical. i thanked him and went inside. i was so happy, i grabbed a towel from my room and hopped into the shower. i put on some of my comfy clothes and brushed my hair. i grabbed one of my books and read it till i fell asleep.
