I was confused on how to approach her. Gabby was different to every other girl, you couldn't just use a stupid cheesy pickup line and then have her drooling over you. That would usually work for me but I have to try hard to get her to like me, or at least 'trust' me
I couldn't keep sitting here staring at her and expect her just to talk to me but she was still probably mad at me from earlier this morning.
I slammed her locker shut. I let out a chuckle from how she jumped when I slammed her locker shut. "Hello Gabby" I smirked.
She rolled her eyes and flicked her bag over her shoulders and walking away. "You know, you can't ignore me forever." I said following after her and walking just a bit behind her. "I'm not ignoring you." She said. "I just don't like you. therefore I don't want to speak to you."
For some reason the words that left her mouth made mad. Without thinking I pushed her against a wall and I inched my fave closer to hers and moving my head beside hers so I could whisper in her ear. "You won't hate me of I rip your clothes off and fuck you right in the janitors closet."
I heard her gasp and before I knew it she had pushed me off of her. "Stay the fuck away from me." she snapped before walking away. I smirked at her as she walked down the hall, I had made her way mad and I would definitely pay for it. The people giving me glares would be the death of me.
I think all I really need to do is use a smoother approach, just be nice and smile.
I sat next to her when she was alone. "Hi." I said. She didn't reply, she was just looking down at her food and playing with it with her fork that was in her hand. "I'm sorry about earlier today, I was in a bad mood." Gabby shrugged. "Could we maybe start again?"
Gabby still hadn't looked up at me, why wouldn't she look at me? "Calum, Calum Hood." I said holding a hand for her to take, she finally looked up at me when I did this. She rolled her eyes at me and looked back down.
God she is such a freak.
"Are you free tonight?" I asked her. she shrugged and never met my eyes. "I was wondering if you'd, uh, want to get a smoothie with me after school?" I really didn't want to go with her but if it involved winning a bet, then why the fuck not, an hour with her couldn't hurt right? But by the looks of it she wouldn't want to go.
"Okay." she whispered, surprising me slightly. "What's your number, I'll text you later yeah?" She didn't say anything more though. She just motioned for me to give her my phone me her phone, when she put the number in there I checked and I thanked her and smiled at get even though she couldn't see.
"So I'll see you tonight then?" I asked her. she just nodded her head slightly standing up and walking away, leaving her food behind, but what I didn't understand is why she wore black all the time?
~*~
To: freak aka Gabrielle: meet me behind the gym after school so I can take you for that smoothie. :) x
I texted her five minutes before the end of school I was leaning on the door of my car waiting for the bell to ring and for her, also for her to reply.
My phone buzzed and I looked at it quickly. "Okay." it said. Seriously she only replies with one word every time. I didn't want to reply much but I had to so I just replied with a smiley face.
Before I knew it the bell had rung and I waited for Gabby to get to the car, when she arrived I told her to get in and she did. The car trip to the smoothie place was quiet, the only sound was the radio playing.
Once we order our smoothies I stared at her, I never noticed how beautiful her eyes were before-fuck Calum, shut up, you don't like her eyes okay?
"So..." I said awkwardly when we finally got our smoothies, the freak wasn't really helping this situation by not speaking. "Do you always have a book near by?" I asked eyeing the book on the table that lay right beside her arm.
Gabby shrugged in reply and I felt like screaming at her and tell her to speak to me. Looking For Alaska' the book said in big writing, it looked a bit old, the spine was cracked, some pages were bent and a bit of the plastic of the edge of the book was coming off. "is it one if your favourite books?" I asked furrowing my brows slightly. Something flickered in her eyes and I wasn't sure what it was.
She nodded her head and now I didn't know what to say, shit.
What was I to do now?
I swallowed and felt my chest tighten in nervousness.
"What kind of smoothie would you like?" I asked her and waiting for a reply.
"A strawberry squeeze please." she mumbled just loud enough for me to hear. (No seriously go to your nearest boost juice bar and order a strawberry squeeze bc it's so freaking good)
She finally said something!
"I'll be right back." I say as I get up from the booth were sitting in and stand in line waiting to order the smoothies.
As I waited I watched her intently as she read her book. Why the hell was she so weird?
Once I had ordered, waited a minute for out smoothies I sat back down. We haven't spoken since I got back. It's been 5 minutes and all we've done is drink our smoothies.
"So..." I mumbled. Gabby looked up and furrowed her brows. "ready to go?" I asked and she nodded her head.
I was going to take her home.
Why?
Simply and only because she was boring.Possibly the most boring-est person ever and I was embarrassed to be seen with her.
This is kinda shitty, I'm sorry.
