Nightmares

I was walking back from the an evening class. I went to this class in school to help me get my grades up.

It was getting dark as I walked along the empty streets.

I reached out to my phone when I got a message.

Unknown: I can see you

I quickly turned off my phone and tried to block it out of my head.

I quickened my pace when I got another text.

Unknown: don't ignore me

I closed my phone again.

Then I got more texts.

Unknown: if you keep ignoring me I will do something I will regret

I blocked the number out of fear. I turned into a busy street and walked.

I felt safe.

I got another text which was the same unknown number.

Unknown: ANSWER ME!!

My hand trembled in fear.

But I blocked it...?

I entered a coffee shop that was going to close soon. I sat down after ordering a hot chocolate.

Now I'll be safe, right??

My phone buzzed again.

Unknown: Ok if you want me to get I'll get you.

Then I went to the counter to pick up my drink.

I looked up from my phone and saw a man handing me my drink.

He looked scetchy..

I hesitantly took the drink from his hands when he grabbed my wrist.

"I told you I'll get you..." he wispered as I let out a scream.

"Y/N!!"

"Y/N!!"

"Y/n wake up!!!" I heard a familliar voice yell.

I snapped my eyes opened and hugged the person.

"Omg y/n you scared me!!" Namjoon said.

"What happened??" He asked with concern all over his face.

"J-just a nightmare" I mumbled.

"You were screaming and crying are you sure??" He asked.

"Yes im sure don't worry" I said.

"How can I not be worried??" he said.

"Sorry" I mumbled.

"It's not your fault we all have nightmares" he said as he patted my head.

"Ok call me if you need me I'm going back to bed" he said as he walked towards the door.

"WAIT joonie can you stay I'm scared" I called out.

He stopped and looked at me for a second.

I could remember those eyes anywhere.

"Are you sure about that??"

Where did namjoon go!!??

He walked towards me as I looked at him compleatly shocked.

"You..?" I asked.

"So it wasn't a nightmare??" I asked as a wave of panic hit me.

"Yes and now I'll get you"

His tall figure towered over me as I was about to get up.

He held my sholders so I couldn't move.

"Remember I'm only the person who haunts you"

"The person who keeps you awake at night"

"The person who lurks around in the corners of your mind"

"Awake or asleep"

"I  always watching you..."

I stayed silent as I saw his grin widen.

"The nightmare man..."

Those were the only words I herd echoing in my head.

Then the door bursted opened with a worried Jin.

"Y/n are you okay!!??" Jin yelled making me snap out of the trance.

"U-um I think so" I replied confused.

"Namjoon said you had a nightmare and you woke up sceaming so he came to check on you."

"He said he was going to leave when you called him to stay. Then you suddenly stopped responding to him when he kept calling you. He got worried when you started randomly mumbling to yourself and came looking for me" Jin said.

"Oh sorry for waking you guys up" I said.

"Don't worry as long as you are ok" jin said as I smiled.

"Ok I'm going to bed now, night" jin said as I thought for a second.

"Wait jin!!" I called out.

"Yes y/n what's wrong??" jin asked as he turned to me.

"I wanted to ask you...have you heard of the nightmare man??" I asked as jin chuckled.

"I think you have been watching too many horror movies with jungkook and taehyung" he said.

At that moment i saw those eyes again from the corner of my eye. 

I turned my head to find him but he was gone. And so was jin.

I was yet again left alone in my room.

With not a soul in sight.

Just me and the nightmare man..
