Olivia swung her fist into the side of the man attacking her. Just a few minutes ago the four of them arrived in the area. They had landed hard, but no serious injuries. She had on a black one-piece suit which reminded her of a scuba diver. Colin was wearing the same thing.
Their Sparks looked different now though Both Flair and Razor stood to her knee level. Razor had a box-like body, balls for his joints, and cylinders for his limbs and neck. His had pair of scissors that protruded from his shoulders. The same pattern was on his face where with the scissors handles acted as his eyes. His forearms were a block like and larger than any other part of his body.
Flair was similar, but her body was triangular in shape. A slim triangle with balls for joints and the same cylinders as Razor. Her shoulders were the oversized and resembled igloos. The bottom of her torso extended into the fluff on a fur coat. Her shoulders and knees were dark blue. The boots looked like winter boots and were light blue like the rest of her body. She had snowflakes where her eyes should be and her pupils were blue, but not as dark as her knees or light as her body.
The moment they landed and stood up they were attacked by these humanoid creatures. Olivia was normally not a violent person, but when your life is in danger you go into survival mode. Each of them was fighting off an attacker.
The attackers were the same height as who they were attacking. They were genderless, but strong looking physiques. Their face was blank but their actions were intense as they tried to subdue their prey.
"What are they?" Olivia screamed.
"Trojans!" Razor yelled.
"Condoms?" Colin said as he started to gain the upper hand with his attacker. He threw the attacker to the ground with a judo throw.
"Can you be serious?" Haze said. "Our existence depends on beating the Trojans."
"Oh, really, I didn't' notice." Colin said. "and whose fault is it we're here?"
HAze created daggers of ice after freeing herself from her attacker. STabbing the Trojan on both sides of its neck. It whirled out of control and started to pixelate into dust, before disappearing in a flash of light.
Razor pulled a handle from his back which turns out to be an oversized pair of scissors. He wielded it like a sword. The handle or hilt was a deep purple. The blade itself looked sharp on the edges. He swung with all of his force at the neck and decapitated the Trojan.
"A little help over here," Colin said holding his trojan attacker to the ground. Olivia was trying to the same thing, but her attacker was stronger and reversed the hold. She started to panic. She remembered being in two fights as a child. She lost both, but wasn't ashamed, because she stood up for herself. She was trying to do the same here, but she was outmatched. The attacker clasped their fingers together and reached backward to deliver a hammer-like blow. Olivia couldn't move with the way the Trojan had her pinned with its legs. Mid-swing, two objects flew over her and through the neck of her attacker. The force of the two objects knocked it backward off of Olivia.
She rolled over onto her stomach and in the direction of where the objects flew from. HAze stood there forming another pair of daggers from her hands.
"Are you okay Olivia?"
"I'll live I guess." She tried to calm herself down. Her heart was pounding hard as if someone was punching her from the inside.
She saw Razor stand over Colin's attacker and open the hilt of his sword to expand the blades around its neck. Then he closes the hilt, cutting the Trojan's head. The attack was over and quietness filled the air.
"Thank you," Colin said being helped up by Razor.
"You seemed like you were handling things okay."
"Are you injured?" Haze asked Olivia. Oliva was thankful that she had Haze now. The only reason she is alive was because of Haze.
"No, just some minor bruising." She looked over and saw the bodies of Ashley and Flair. "There they go."
"We have to hurry before more Trojans come. Colin and Razor watched our backs. This should n't take long."
"You got it," Colin said handing the scissor blade over to cOlin.
"I don't know how to use this," Colin said.
"You will, we're in sync now, my skills will become yours and visa versa."
Colin smiled. "I'm going to be a swordsman? Now, this is the best thing to happen this night."
Olivia and Haze ran over to Flair and Ashley. Ashley started to steer. Her eyes open and she moved back from both of them. Looking around she started to panic. It was then that Olivia noticed that everything around them was generic. Generic being that the ground looked brown. the sky was blue, and the light around them was bright, but not blinding. There was no temperature, but it did seem to be more warm than cold.
"Where are we?" Ashley asked. Olivia could see a look of disdain from Ashely. She guessed it was warranted, she did punch her earlier. Ashley was putting that all passed them now, focusing on the environment.
"Our species can communicate verbally and electronically. The electronic way comes in two forms. The first is the standard radio communication. The other is uploading ourselves into what we call the knowten. Here we appear as our self-image. The environment belongs to the recipient of the Interview. The Trojans are protectors of that part of the brain. When bonded with a host, they can enter the knowten as well.
"That's why you needed Colin," Olivia said. "We couldn't' access Flair unless we could use Ashley." Olivia said.
"Exactly, Razor can establish communication with what's left of energy and allow us all to enter. IF Ashley stayed awake we wouldn't be able to access Flair's Krowten. He's acting as a device."
"Thank you." Rafo
"But, I'm up now," Ashley said then she nodded her head. "Which doesn't matter, you just need access to her mind and since mine is connected.'
"Like going through a backdoor," Olivia said
"Well, how are you going to help her now?" Ashley said walking back to everyone.. "What are these projections. I know you said they are like white blood cells."
She stopped in mid-sentence as more Trojans popped up. They're being five now. Olivia tried to call out to Ashley, but Colin appeared and dispatch each Trojan quickly.
"Well, what do you know, Razor was telling the truth."
"and nothing but."
Haze looked over Falirs body. Flair's body was similar, but instead of snowflakes for eyelids, she had flames. Her body was red to Haze's blue. The bottom of hips expanded into a dress. She was thicker than Haze
"What is that around her mouth?" Olivia asked. Flair's mouth was gagged and limbs were tied to the ground.
"She wasn't just hungry. Something or someone poisoned her." Haze said.
"Poisoned her inside her mind. How is that possible." Olivia could see Flairs' vitals. They were weak and failing. Olivia grabbed Flair's hand.
"They had to do it before we left to pursue Megatron."
"Is there a way to heal her? I mean we're in another dimension, right?"
"Yes. The poison must have been a heavy sedative, meaning I have to find a way of waking her up to free her."
"So, we go back to the real world." Olivia felt that it was only matter of time before more Trojans came out. She was getting tired. Fear started going through her body. No more adrenaline, just pure fear. Fear that was real and tangible.
"No." Haze looked around and then held the sides of Flair's head. "No, believe it or not, this is when our species start to be different. You still think of us as robots with computer minds right?"
I mean I don't' mean too, but it's the easiest thing for me to understand."
"Well in a way you're right. Our minds are like computers. She infected with a virus that her mainframe can't handle and her Trojans can detect.
