Yoongi slowly drifted into consciousness, the light streaming through the window making the world behind his closed eyes a rusty orange. He breathed in, the comforting smell of home filling his lungs and seeming to wrap him in a warm hug. Instinctively, he reached out a hand, which fell on the warm tummy of his husband beside him.
Yoongi pulled himself against Hoseok, his lips resting against the soft cotton pyjama top on the other boy's shoulder, his arm hugging tightly around his waist. He drew his legs up and over Hoseok's sleeping body, gently resting on him so as not to wake him, but hugging him enthusiastically like a tiny child with an enormous bear. He nuzzled against Hoseok's shoulder, the soft cotton of his pyjama top infused with his intoxicating scent, with which Yoongi had an insatiable obsession.
Yoongi stayed as a limpet for a while, listening to Hoseok's breathing and matching it, in, and out. He shifted a little further up in the bed, letting his head rest above Hobi's warm shoulder. He let his arms trace over Hoseok's caramel skin, soliciting happy groans from the sleeping boy.
Yoongi watched his hands, so pale by comparison, skate across Hoseok's skin. He'd never been too interested in skinship until he met Hobi. Now, he never wanted to stop feeling Hoseok's skin on his own.
Eventually he became aware of eyes on him, and looked over to see Hoseok watching his eyes watch his hands. He smiled, and rested himself on one arm so he was hovering above Hoseok.
"Good morning." He said, leaning over and kissing his love. Morning kisses are the most commonplace, the most mundane, the most loving and every bit as soulful as they had always been throughout Yoongi and Hoseok's relationship.
After this quick kiss,Yoongi flopped against Hoseok's chest, listening to his heart slow, absently stroking his cheek with his thumb.
"Good morning." Hoseok replied.
