Please do tell me a beautiful lie
Say you will stay with me until I die
Tell me words that are untrue
Don't you know I, love and you?
Isn't that what we do in modern time
Talk about love in some silly rhyme
We lie as we rhyme and pretend that we care
As we call our lover god by her beauty and hair
But I will tell you a love that holds all it's weight
A girl that I waited almost five years to date
I will admit she has her flaws
and a set of blood letting jaws
But I still love her for she is no pain
The love she gives me is a great gain
She heals my worst wounds and listens to me complain
She cures my worst madness and even the pain
We can talk about our future and solemnly fight
When we talk about our past we can last all night
No my girl never mad me breakfast in bed
But she makes sure nothing's wrong with my head
She is a human and so am I
Imperfect beings waiting to die
But If I die with her by my side
That is the day the devil will hide
