Jessica Almark was your average American teenager. 17 years old, wanted her grades and had a life ambition. She had always wanted to be a DJ. Some of her favourites were Porter Robinson, Skrillex and Zedd. She was single, didn't plan on romance until after her school studies. She had her friends and lived in a big house in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States. She lived with her mum and dad but had no brothers or sisters (an only child you could say). Her best friend Krystal always saw her everyday and they would go out on the city nearly every night.
However, when there were lovers of Jessica, there were haters of her as well. Two girls, who looked exactly the same (twins you could say), also once friends of Jessica herself, were haters. They despised her so much yet nobody knew why. They would bully her and make her feel unwelcome. Jessica's friends would try to stand up for her and help her out but the two girls would have their friends to help them and block them from getting to her. She was on her own in this situation. The two girls friends were like a wall, not letting anyone in to what was going on.
One day, it was your average American high school day and it was twelve o'clock. Noon. Lunchtime. The daily special; Californian Beach Platter. Everyone's favourite. The crowds started to pile into the cafeteria. The noise slowly began to grow of people chatting and socializing. People were queueing up for food as the noise of growling stomach started to occur. Jessica met up with Krystal after they both had different subjects they came from. The two of them then joined the back of the queue and waited in line for their food.
Then hell appeared. The two girls (or twins), walked through the door to the cafeteria. Some looked around to see, gave them weird looks and carried on with their own conversations. They cause so much trouble at the school, they were lucky they had not been kicked out yet. They grabbed trays from the dispenser and joined the back of the queue, behind Jessica and Krystal. The two girls noticed after a few seconds that it was the one they always hated in front. They whispered to each other, thinking of a good plan to hatch on her.
Eventually, when they got to the front of the line, one of the girls spoke out, "Oh, Jessica and Krystal pushed in front of us. They shouldn't get served." Jessica turned around and looked at them, "Are you serious? We've been standing here a hell of a lot longer than you. So back the hell up." She pushed Jessica and Krystal out of the line, moving in their space and getting served alongside her sister, "Back of the line, bitches. It's where you belong." Jessica gave a sarcastic grin to them, "You move you ass out that line or my fist will get a good taste of face. Your choice, buttnugget."
The four of them squared up to each other. It was like a Mexican standoff. Only this time, it was for food. "Big mistake, bitch." one of the girls said and launched a punch at Krystal. She fell to the floor, nose bleeding and slowly backing down. Jessica then jumped on that girl and pulled her down to the ground. She punched her continuously until she was pulled off by the other girl. Jessica smacked her in the lip and she fell to the floor, bleeding alongside Krystal. By now, the other girl had got back up and started pulling Jessica's hair. There was screaming and shouting and eventually they were broken up by the two injured girls. "You're a ugly whore and I'm surprised people in this building and your own sister right there can put up with your ugly face!" Jessica screamed at the girls before Krystal dragged her away.
Later on in the day, the two of them were round Jessica's house, battered and bruised. Krystal had a tissue up her nose to prevent anymore bleeding and Jessica looked like she had just come back from Afghanistan. Cuts and bruises all over her body and a broken nose weren't the best things to get after a day at school. "I really want to thank you, Jessica. For helping me from getting anymore hurt by those bitches." said Krystal. Jessica smiled, "It was nothing. Friends stick up for each other and you didn't deserve what happened to you. It was me that opened my mouth at them." Krystal giggled, "Yeah, I guess but what about your injuries? They are going to take a little bit of time to heal." She scoffed, "Yeah, so what? They can just remember next time they see me that I'm not a force to be reckoned with. They flipping deserved it."
Krystal pointed at the tissue in her nose, "You have a point. This won't heal easily. After all; What don't kill us makes us stronger right?" Jessica nodded, "Hell yeah."
