The next day, Jess was getting ready for school. She dressed up rather tight and didn't really show any skin. She was hoping not for anyone to realise the bruises and scars all over her body because of the day before. She packed all the stuff she needed into her bag and walked downstairs to get her breakfast. Whilst walking down the stairs, she saw someone approach the door and knocked on it. Jess shouted, "Don't worry Mom! I'll get it!" and hurried down the stairs quicker to answer it. When she got there, she opened it and it was Krystal, all ready for school. She had a bandage on her nose from the events the day before but still had the same innocent smile on her face. They hugged and Jess let her inside.

The two of them them walked into the sitting room of their house and Krystal sat down whilst Jess rushed to the kitchen for her breakfast. "Did you want anything Krystal?" Jess asked. She shouted back, "No I'm good thanks. I've already had something this morning so I don't really want to be too greedy." The two girls giggled from different rooms.

Eventually, Jess came back into the sitting room with her breakfast. A bowl of shredded wheat and a drink of Cool-Aid. Krystal smiled at her, "You're going to drink Cool-Aid at this time of morning? Are you nuts?" She laughed a little as she sat down, "Well, I was punched multiple times in the head yesterday by some shitty wannabe yesterday and called a buttnugget so maybe." The two of them laughed as Jess ate her breakfast.

When she finished, she put the remainder of Cool-Aid into her bag and walked towards the front door with Krystal following behind her. Suddenly, Jess' mom appeared and stood in the doorway looking at Jess. "Oh Jessica?" Jess realised who it was and slowly turned around to confront her, "Yes Mother?" Her mom smiled, "Are you forgetting anything? Something to do with saying goodbye?" Jess rolled her eyes and approached her mom, kissing her, hugging her and saying goodbye. She turned towards the direction of the door. It was already open as Krystal was waiting outside and followed her out, closing the door behind her.

As soon as the door closed, Krystal started giggling. "Fuck off, Krystal.", Jess said, trying hard not to laugh herself. They both walked down her driveway and onto the pavement towards their school. Jess shook her head at Krystal, "That woman gives me the shits sometimes, I swear to God." The two of them suddenly burst into laughter. They had to stop walking since they were laughing that much. The two of them then knew the rest of the day was going to be very funny for no specific reason.
