Jess knew that eventually a question like this would eventually come up from someone whether it be family, friends or just a curious reader of hers. In this case, it was a curious reader. She then texted Robert saying, "Ok, I'll tell you what happened. But you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone else unless I state otherwise. Got it?" and pressed send. Around five minutes later, she got a reply from him saying, "Sure, you can trust me. It'll be a secret between me and you."

She took that as a solid enough reply and began typing what had occured over the past couple of weeks. It said, "Ok, well over the past couple of months me and my best friend Krystal had been the victims of several attacks from these girls that nobody really likes. These confrontations between the four of us have ended up in fights possibly nearly breaking bones. It was looking like we had finally just shrugged them off a few weeks back until on the way to school, they attacked us again after I started writing this diary showing how I felt about it all and they somehow found out about it. Both me and Krystal were knocked out unconscious by the two of them that day and stayed that way for seven hours. Somehow, there were witnesses of the attack and someone found us lying in the nearby park in blood-stained uniforms and our bags ripped and torn. We then woke up after those seven hours lying in two beds of our school medical room and the school nurse and principal telling us that the two girls had been expelled from the school and the supposed person that helped them was arrested. The two of us somehow managed to walk away with scars and wounds the size of a golf ball but it's been tough to put it into writing. We did go out and have a little bit of a celebration but since then, it has been rather quiet with me uploading on here and Krystal doing the same. We had some time to recover from the brutal attack but we're going back in a few days. Got to get those grades somehow I guess?". She double checked over what she had written and pressed send message on her phone, hoping for a decent response.

About ten minutes later, the response came through onto her phone and she opened the message. Robert wrote back, "Wow, I can see how it is difficult to put that into writing because it's so personal, sometimes you just don't really want to. Well, I am so glad you are ok now and hopefully the problem has cleared fully. For your friend Krystal as well. I can help you also in anyway possibly you might need help with these sort of things. All you have to do is just message me and I'll try to help. If Krystal is the same, send her my name and I'll talk to her about it." Jess looked over the message and smiled. Not once had she seen such a caring person to talk to. She wrote back, "Thank you, Robert, I'm glad someone can understand my feelings and Krystal's as well. And I'll try to message a lot more in the future because I think you already are a true friend to me and will help me out in the tough situaitons." She then put an x on the end just to show the gratitude she was showing and pressed send.

At once, he replied, "No problem. It's nice to talk to new people every now and again. Thank you, I guess for replying to the first message." He then also put an x on the end of what he was writing to show the gratitude. The two of them then looked at the respective messages and then suddenly thought something; was this the start of a magical friendship?
