It angered her more than anything. They were low, lower than lower even. Why, they could've fallen into the same category as Men in Artemis' mind. It never occurred to her that she had moved, nor that she had acted on impulse, but she did. She went with righteous fury and swiftly attacked Galataea first, she was wounded and would be easy to incapacitate. Kara's eyes widened as she saw her friend move as lightning towards on of the other girls, her face clouded as to what she wanted to do. Artemis simply grabbed Galataea's bad wrist and pulled it away with one hand, with the other she reeled her hand back and violently pushed her palm into her chin, pushing her into the nearest wall. All others froze before she turned to engage them.

In the corner stood the two council members, both looked on, one in interest, the other in surprise. “She is stronger than we had anticipated.........Are you sure she is.....?” the other nodded, “Of course, our retribution will come with the help of that little girl, she is strong......The gods have sent us a savior, Enyo, you would do well to respect-” “That doesn't matter! She is riddled with bad omens, she could very well bring the destruction of all that we know, Myrine!!!!” Myrine smiled dryly, “Bring on the end then.”

Artemis found fighting Helen a bit harder than fighting her friend,

It's only because a mother must know when to protect her child.

Artemis thought,

She did go to sparring training with me, I almost killed her

. Artemis dodged a roundhouse kick by jumping straight up, she tried to counter with a downward kick but the girl slid out of the way. Artemis tried to focus, but couldn't, resulting in a swift kick to her stomach. Her muscles tightened into knots as she flew into the opposite wall. Artemis got up in time to dodge Helen's next attack with her own wrists, she pushed the womyn back. Using the wall she now leaned against, Artemis pushed herself forward, pushing her head into Helen's stomach. Artemis growled as she lifted her self up. Helen moaned on the ground, coughing up blood slightly.

I must really be hard headed

, she thought before bring her hands into a fist and slamming them into Helen's stomach, twice. The young girl finally gave up and passed out, Artemis spit out a small amount of blood herself, before turning to Antiope, who had been watching in horror.

Kara had gone to get help, regardless of what Artemis felt. She ran back into the dining pavilion, where Hippolyta sat with Thalia. “General Hippolyta, come with me! Please!!” Hippolyta stared at Kara, there was something wrong with her, she shook slightly. “What's wrong, child?” “It's Artemis, she's in trouble!!” And for the first time that day since she entered the dining pavilion, she looked to where Artemis had been sitting. Nothing. “Gods help me.......”she muttered as she walked out following Kara, as did Thalia. “What's the little runt gotten into this time?” her lieutenant asked as they half walked, half ran to her sister's aid.

Antiope was smarter than Artemis, and had been analyzing the other battles she had. She had easily countered the power hits Artemis tried to pull, and reeled back when Artemis begun to rely on her own speed. Artemis was breathing hard, her resolve not shaken but her body was limited. When Antiope hit, she hit pressure points, making Artemis dizzy and shake. As a strategist Artemis knew that Antiope wouldn't let her simply let herself attack without a plan. Artemis roared in anger, and began to back away, dodging all the quick jabs to her pressure points. She was already weak, and just recently got hit in her left arm, making it virtually useless. Artemis backed away, taking a moment to think,

She expects me to fight while relying on skills, not strategy, I have to beat her at her own game. My left arm is out, but I've got two legs and one arm left.
