Artemis woke up slightly falling out of the tree in which she had napped, It was still the dead of night, she noticed that her teacher's fire had gone out,

She must be out looking for me....

Artemis thought calmly as she pulled herself out of the tree She landed lightly on her feet, and scanned the area around her, none of her traps had been activated. She listened, her sword sometimes catching the wind and giving off a demonic ring. Artemis placed her hand in front of her sword and began to move back up the tree, when she saw a familiar rapier, swing past her. It cut her cheek slightly, causing her to turn slightly, Artemis smiled when she saw her teacher's face, rushing towards her through the trees. Artemis motioned for her teacher to come closer. Her teacher much too intent on making contact with her student didn't notice the trap she was running towards, which was activated by Artemis who brought her sword down on a specific vine. The vine tore into two, pulling rock towards her teacher, which made instant contact. Artemis nodded approvingly and decided that she need to get away from her traps.

The young womyn rushed through the forest a short way before realizing that her body felt sore, terribly sore.

Must be from my mind's eye.

She thought before taking refuge in a slightly smaller tree. Her muscles screamed for rest, but now that her teacher had found her again, Artemis knew that she would have to fight again. Artemis mentally growled at herself,

I need to get to higher ground....

At that very moment she felt the branch snap, but not of natural causes, Artemis dodged the sword that came at her flank, and barrel rolled to the left a ways before quickly coming up to stare at her opponent. Alkyone had taken the small boulder full on, bruising starting around her forehead and settling near her eyes. “Hello Artemis.....”

Artemis nodded her salute, then pulled her sword her her side to in front of her, the sword again caught the wind and made that demonic ring. Alkyone smiled and pulled, out yet another rapier from a nearby bush. Artemis made a mental note to leave weapons around the sun room for her to fight with. Then disregarded it, she didn't think she would do that well without the sword that Lady Aella gave her. They ran at each other, but before the last second where they collided Artemis hit the ground and kicked up dirt and a vine. She grabbed said vine and threw it in the middle of the dust cloud she created. Alkyone took the bait easily, and immediately struck at the first thing to come out of the cloud, the vine. When she slashed it she knew that she'd hit the wrong thing and immediately tried to find Artemis.

Artemis smiled from the high branch she stood against as her teacher searched for her, no doubt she already knew she was up here. Alkyone wasn't the best for nothing, she'd used most of the moves Artemis tried now, or created them. Artemis fell almost in a diver's position sword in front of her, she made contact with Alkyone's sword and her teacher easily smacked her off to the side with the side of her second blade. The young womyn groaned as she pulled herself up, her muscles felt as if they were on fire, and yet she managed to dodge and parry all of Alkyone's attacks. Until it became to much, Artemis felt as if she was fighting a fire and it had gotten under her clothes, under her skin, it just burned. A voice spoke almost out of nowhere,

Rest child, you are tired, I will take care of everything........

Artemis blinked, sure she was in pain, but..... she was hallucinating?

Artemis only half agreed,

Whatever this is, I want to fight, alright? Just tell me what to do, until I can get away from her.

She thought as her teacher approached, fast like a cheetah. Immediately, against Artemis best instincts to dodge, she brought her sword to her face and pushed as soon as Alkyone made contact. Her teacher went spiraling into a tree, Artemis was shocked, the voice in her head spoke again,
