Chapter 1

  These past few weeks had been eventful. Jason Blossom, golden boy of Riverdale High, had been murdered. Betty Cooper, the-girl-next-door, had admitted to Archie Andrews, the typical boy-next-door, that she was in love with him only to be rejected during their first sophomore year dance. Not only that, but a new girl, Veronica Lodge, moved into town and befriends Betty and Archie the first day back from summer. Veronica also happens to befriend Kevin Keller, gay son of Sheriff Keller. He, coincidentally, finds Jason Blossom's corpse while almost having a rendezvous with Moose Mason, a popular football player.

When Jason was found by Kevin and Moose, Sheriff Keller reopened Jason's case only to find that he was killed on July eleventh, not July fourth. Cheryl Blossom, twin sister to Jason, was called in for questioning of her brother's murder. She only spoke about what she knew; Jason and her went to Sweetwater River to help him escape from his life and to be with the girl that would bear his child, Polly Cooper, sister of Betty.

While all of this was happening, Archie decides to admit to Principal Weatherbee that he was at Sweetwater River and heard the gunshot on July fourth. Ms. Grundy, Archie's 'girlfriend' at the time, starts to panic, not wanting to lose her job as the music teacher at Riverdale High. Jughead and Betty decide to also take a stab at trying to figure out what happened to Jason on the day of his death. Oh! Veronica also exposes some of Riverdale High's football players for slut shaming girls in their school, her included.

Continuing on, Jughead and I had found out that Twilight Drive-In movie theater, our temporary home, had been bought by an anonymous buyer, forcing us to vacate the area and we secretly found shelter in the abandoned storage closets at school. Archie ended up finding out about us and made us move in to his dad's house. While Jughead slept on the floor in Archie's room, I slept peacefully on their living room couch. During this time, Betty and Veronica were gathering evidence against Ms. Grundy to prove to Archie that she isn't who she says she is. Meanwhile, Alice Cooper, Betty and Polly's mom, found a way to ruin Archie's goody boy image from reading Betty's diary.

Jason's funeral as held a few days later. Cheryl had worn the white dress that she was wearing the day that they both had gone to the river. She quickly spoke about Jason before her mom cut her off and rapidly ended the eulogy session. During the following days, Archie had the ability to meet with a music mentor only to be shot down. He then decided to continue his football career, playing and writing music in his free time.

It was the next Monday, near lunch time, when Jughead and I walked into the Blue and Gold only to find Principal Weatherbee and Sheriff Keller looking at our makeshift murder board. My eyes scan over them, Sheriff had his hands on his waist as Principal Weatherbee casually looked between my brother and I.

"Hey," Jug speaks as he sets his bag down on the closest chair and I quietly grab it, holding it in my left hand just in case something happened, "What's up?"

"I'm going to need you to come down to the station with me," Sheriff quietly said before walking out of the room, Principal Weatherbee and I following close behind. As we walk down the hallway I notice the stares of our peers watching us. My eyes narrow as I look into their eyes and they look away, intimidated by the silent twin. Betty and Archie look our way in shock as Jug tells them to call our dad. The pair tried to stop me but I move out of their way. I ignore the confused looks they give me as I walk out of the building, watching as Sheriff Keller drives my brother away. Principal Weatherbee huffs and nods his head, as if he was satisfied with the fact that Jug was taken away. He didn't spare me a glance as he walked back inside the high school. I groan and shove my brother''s bag into my almost empty one and I start to jog my way to the police station. Once I reached the station, I slow to a quick walk and make my way inside. I see Sheriff Keller talking with one of his deputies and rush towards him.
