It has been a few days had gone by quickly since I had gone to my dad's trailer. Fred had been shot but someone known as 'The Black Hood' which put everyone in despair, especially me. I had always considered Fred to be family and seeing him shot had torn my heart into two. Thankfully he is recovering very well and that he'll be able to go about what he usually does soon. Ms. Grundy, Archie's past love had been murdered not long after, sending him into a frenzy of trying to figure out who her killer was. Dad had been released as a suspect for Jason's murder but he is now going to be thrown in jail for hiding a dead body, tampering with evidence and a crime scene, and more. Jughead and I had constantly visited dad, asking questions as well as just talking about anything we could. Jughead ended up going to a snake charmer to ask for help only leading to have him yell and my twin and I about it, telling us to never contact her again. Jughead and I had also been put into the foster system ever since the beginning of dad's trial. The family didn't hesitate to let us stay at our home, knowing that social services wouldn't show up once we had been placed in there care.

Oh! Pop's was also going to close if it weren't for the fact that Betty had given her all to save it for the town. Strange, I know. Which I was also very grateful for seeing as it was one of the places I called home. One last thing, Major McCoy has also decided to give the idea to Principal Weatherbee to send us to the Southside, which he did with a smile on his troll like face. As a matter of fact, that's where we were right now, walking through the metal detectors of Southside High only to be stopped by the girl from a few nights ago.

"Princess?" I furrow my eyebrows as I stand next to Jug while he put on his crown beanie. They had stopped him and made him walk through the detector as a precaution. She smirked at me before lifting her camera and taking a picture of us together, "Forsythe Pendleton Jones the Third and Remington Jones."

"It's actually Jughead and RJ," We both state casually and I fiddle with the straps of my backpack. She raised an eyebrow as she watches me before coolly saying that her name was Toni Topaz, our peer mentor. Toni started to lead us through the school, telling us about how there are no doors on the bathroom stalls and how the classrooms don't have WiFi, which I was grateful for. I was one to go to a library and do research or use paper and pen when writing notes, not going onto the internet and finding the one link that I think matches the best for a class and just winging my assignment. Of course I know that it is the old fashioned way of doing things but that's how I am- old fashioned. Ironically, Jughead just had to ask about the Red and Black, Southside Highs very own newspaper, only to be shot down by Toni saying how it was nonexistent because of censorship and low budget costs. We also saw jingle-jangle, the most popular drug at the moment, being used in its natural habitat, also known as being used by druggies that were standing in a corner of the hallway.

"All right, here in the cafetorium, the Ghoulies sit over there," she points to our left as we quickly walk past everyone and anyone. She names of things that they are most known for-rival gang, drug dealing, street racing, and rumors of cannibalism, "And we sit over there, with the Serpents."

"You're a Southside Serpent?" Jughead asked as we trailed behind her. It wasn't much of a surprise to me considering the fact that I had seen her wearing her leather jacket all those nights ago. It also wasn't a surprise that I had found one that night, the streets are either filled with Serpents or Ghoulies at night, thankfully I happened to run into one other the nicer Serpents that night.

"Why did you think that I volunteered to give the tour? Come on," I snicker quietly behind my brother and he looks at me with an annoyed look. I shake my head as I shrug before playfully punching him in his shoulder, "What can I say? We are the children of FP Jones. They were bound to find out about us coming here."

Toni and I start to walk into the snake den only to be stopped by Jughead saying that he was going to sit alone. Then he goes off saying how he self identifies as a loner and no a pack animal-that he wants to get though this alone. I stand next to Toni and shake my head, disapproving of my brother's choice.
