Ashley Turns One (Part 1)

Flashback-

Sebastian's POV

"Argh! Seb! I can't take it anymore!" Anna screamed as she pushed. She was gripping my hand so hard that all of my blood was on my fingers from my palm.

"Just another push baby! Please don't give up!" I said as I wipe the sweat from her forehead and removed hairs from her head. She was crying in pain. Her face was all red and my heart was breaking seeing her in this much pain.

"I can't, Seb! It hurts so much!" said Anna and she started to cry like a baby. I kissed her head and continuously ran my hand on her forehead.

"Honey, you've been so brave and strong till now. Please, Honey. Just a little bit. I promise the pain will go away. I love you. Do it for our baby girl. You are my strong girl. You are so beautiful, Anna. Please give another push. I am here baby....please..." I said in a soft voice as I saw she was crying in pain and was giving up.

"I am trying." said Anna in a pained voice as she gave another push gripping my hand so tight that I thought my hand will break. Her face was showing how much it was paining her. Her face was red and sweat and tear was making it's was on her face. I continuously rubbed her head.

"Argh!!!" She gave another push and I heard the doctor.

"I can see the baby coming. Just a few push!" said the doctor from the opposite side of the curtain. As I head her, my heartbeat started to run fast. Just in some moment I will be seeing her. I have waited 9 months to see her. I have never waited so eagerly for anything. Sweat was forming on my face and Anna's hard grip was giving the same vibe.

"ARGHHHH!" With the last push Anna collapsed on the bed and I heard the beautiful sound i have ever heard in my entire life. She is here! The doctor made her way towards us and I looked at Anna. She was crying and her eyes were locked in the human being the doctor was carrying. She was covered in blood and her skin was covered in something white. I stood still there. I can't believe that she's here. I have never seen something so beautiful in my entire life.  All those 9 months of waiting was worth to see this beautiful person. She is our baby. She is our little girl.

The doctor placed her on Anna's chest and both of them were crying. A while ago Anna was unable to move her hands. But I saw as soon as the doctor placed our baby on her chest she wrapped her hand around that tiny person. I didn't realise that I was crying as well.

9 months of waiting, all worth for her. All my life I have always wanted a child of my own. And now, she is here.  I wiped my tears as I kissed Anna's forehead and she looked at me with watery eyes.

"You made it, Love!" I said happily but my voice sounded so shaky.

"We made it!" Anna smiled brightly at me and the doctor came to clean the baby and told me to go outside as they will clean Anna was well.

"Can I stay with the baby?" I said as I didn't want to leave her for a single moment. The doctor nodded and I stood before the cleaning table. Our baby girl was so tiny. She was trying to move her arms and legs as she continued to cry. Never in my life I have seem more adorable scene than this. Her eyes was still closed. And she was making those adorable crying noises.

That day Ashley Annabell Stan was born and she changed our lives completely. She  is the biggest gift of our life. I promise myself the time I looked at her. I will protect her from every harm and sorrow and i will make sure she gets every happiness in life. I promised myself to be the best Dad for her.

Flashback ended

I opened my eyes and as my eyes opened I saw the most beautiful person in the world is sleeping beside me. Both of her hands were laying in both sides. Her drool wetting her onesie and her pillow. Her brown hair covering her forehead.Her long eyelashes touching her cheeks. Her chubby cheeks with a tint of pink on it.
