Night Duty

Sebastian's POV

We said our goodbye to everyone . Then Anna and I sat on the couch. I warped one of my arms on her shoulder. She placed her head on me shoulder.I kissed her forehead.

"Our lives' gonna change from now" sighed Anna.

"Yeah and in a good way." I smiled. She snuggled closer to me.

"Do you want to take some rest?" I said. Anna nodded. I warped my arms around her. And without knowing we both fell asleep.

I was woken up by the sound of wailing. I opened my eyes and realized Anna was not beside me. And the wailing was Ashley's. I went to Ashley's room and saw Anna was changing her diaper.

"Do you want some help?" I said.

"No. But you can cook the dinner." said Anna without looking at me.

"Okay." I said and I went to cook dinner.

After a while Anna came out Ashley on her arms.

"Hey Daddy. What are you cooking? " said Anna.

"Risotto." i said happily.

"Smells yummy! I am sick of Hospital food." Anna whined. I laughed.

"How come you are sick of it when you literally shoved me all your foods and ate mine?" I said crossing my arms. Anna smiled sheepishly.

We ate dinner while Ashley was sound alseep in her room.

"I can't wait to be with you in the bed." I winked, while laying down on the bed.

"Whoa! Dude! I just gave birth to a human. Control youself!" said Anna held her arm.

"Okay." I said with a disappointed look. Anna lied down and I warped my hands on her waist and pulled her closer.

"Who said I can't cuddle with you?" I said with a husky voice. Anna struggle to let herself out of my arms but i tightened it.

"No use of it wife. I got to sleep with you after decades. " I said

"You mean two days?" said Anna sarcastically. I laughed. I kissed her on the lips and then turned off the lights.

"Good Night " I whispered on her ear.

"Good Night" she said. Her face was covered on my chest. I bet her cheeks was red.

I just felt, I slept for 5 mins when i heard my alarm. I opened my eyes. Anna was still sleeping on my arms. Then I realized it was not the sound of alarm. The sound was coming from the baby monitor.

I carefully got out of the bed. Anna was still asleep and I didn't want to wake her up. I went to Ashley's room and I saw she was crying loudly. She was throwing her hands and legs.I went to her and picked her up.

"Shh...Baby...Don't cry...Daddy's here!" I cooed and started to rock her. But she didn't stop crying. I checked her diaper. But it was alright. So I just continue to rock her. But she didn't stop crying.  I felt helpless.

"Are you hugry baby?" I said helding her close to my chest.

And then there was a pat on my back. I looked behind and saw Anna. I gave Ashley to her. She sat on the rocking chair and started to feed her.

"She was very hungry." said Anna while feeding her. I kneel down in front of Anna and placed a kiss on Ashley's forehead.  Then creased her head.

"She is sooo adorable! " I said.

"Yeah, She is." nodded Anna.

"Did you noticed she has got my eyes?" I said happily.

"Yeah. I noticed it at the very first day." said Anna.

"We have to go to the doctors tomorrow. " said Anna.

"Why?" I said.

"To ask her if we can give Ashley formula milk." said Anna.

"What is formula milk? Aren't babies supposed to drink breast milk?" I frowned.

"Yeah. But like this kind of situation. When I'm alseep and your daughter is hugry. You can't calm her down. And dear husband. If you want me to take rest we have to give her formula milk. Also I'm gonna start working from next month. If I'm away from home. You have to feed her something. She can't starve." said Anna.

"But your mom strictly told me not to give Ashley anything except breast milk!" I protested. Anna sighed.

"What if I'm not here?" said Anna.

"Don't worry, Sweetheart. We will be able to make a time table in a few weeks. You don't have to feed her that 'chemical milk'."  I said. forgetting the name.

"It's formula milk" laughed Anna.
