Rainbow's POV

I woke up from something soft on my lips. I opened my eyes and blushed. Soarin had his eyes closed and his lips were touching mine ever so slightly. I leaned my head away and sighed. He stirred in his sleep. "Come here Dashie.."

It's like he's awake. Wonder what he's dreaming about. I slowly and steadily removed his hooves from around my waist and got off the bed. I looked at the calender. It was Saturday. Yayy.

I yelped as something or someone pulled me back on the bed by my tail. I looked back and saw Soarin staring at me. "I told you to come to me" He said in a slightly irritated tone. "Wait, You were awake?" I asked and he nodded in response.

He snuggled into me and I, ofcourse, let him. He kissed my forehead and blew air into my sensitive ear. "Eeh!" I yelped and blushed. "Knew it was sensitive" He smirked at me. I blushed more and looked away from him.

"We should get-" I tried to finish my sentence. "Nah" He said, cutting me off and pulled me closer, nuzzling into my hair. "Soarin, let me go" I said, but didn't try to get out of his grip. I wouldn't be able to unless he willingly lets me go anyway.

"Make me" He challenged. "How?" I asked. He smirked and opened his mouth to say something. "No, sorry for asking" I said. He laughed and pulled me even closer. Our muzzles only a few metres away from each others.

My face turned bright red as he pulled me even closer and our lips made contact. But, instead of the kiss being rough as usual, it was soft. Soft and passionate.

A few moments later, he broke the kiss and smirked mischievously while looking at my body up and down. I immediately knew what was on his mind. "Soarin, Don't even think about it" I warned.

His expression flattened and he looked at me with annoyance. "Oh, Come on Da-" "No!" I yelled, cutting him off. He rolled his eyes and glared at me lightly. I did the same, glared at him lightly.

He got on top of me and I attempted to punch his face but somehow missed and my hoof slid by his cheek. "Soarin, please don't! Not now!" I pleaded and tried to push him off of me. "Shush now babe" He said with a sly smile and put his wing feather on my lips.

My bottom lip quivered as I looked up into his emerald green eyes. "Please.." I pleaded again. He kissed me on the lips and a tear rolled down my face. "Your no fun" He glared and frowned. "I'm sorry.. Just.. Not now..." I said as he got off of me and laid besides me on the bed.

"Then when?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. My eyes widened slightly and I bit on my quivering lower lip. "I-I... Don't.. Know" He rolled his eyes and his expression softened. "Sorry" He apologised and kissed me on the cheek.

"Can we get out of bed?" I asked. He nodded and we got off his bed and went out. We went out to the garden. I stood in front of a rose Bush and stared at the bright red roses with emotionless eyes. A shadow loomed over me and I turned my head to look at the source of the shadow. Soarin.

"Dash" He began with a serious tone. "later, were gonna go to headmaster Silver Lining and talk to him about the foal so that he sends a few of the staff ponies to search for him, okay?" I nodded and went back to staring at the beautiful roses.

"Whats up?" He asked and walked up to me and stood next to me. I shook my head and he raised an eyebrow. "Dash.." He began. "How do you..?.." I trailed off. "How do you what?" He asked. "How do you break me down so easily..?" I finished, still not looking at him. We stood in silence. Not awkward, just... Silent.

The chirping of the birds and the rustling of the grass were the only sounds that could be heard. It was so calm and peaceful. I wanted it to be so for... Forever! But alas! Soarin began to speak..

He came closer and put an wing on my back. "You break down easily" He answered causally but instead of his normal rough voice, it was lighter and.. Softer.. I flinched lightly at his answer and lost my hoofing for a second but quickly stood straight before I could have fallen down.

I turned my head to look at him then looked back at the rose Bush. "Soarin.. I'll do whatever you want... As long as... You don't force me to.." I said. He looked down at me. "Then, will you be my marefriend?" He asked straightforward.

I budged lightly and swiftly turned my head and looked up at him. "Your what..?" "My marefriend" He said. I frowned and thought hard for a moment. "Well?" He asked.

".... Ok..." I said.

Little did I know back then..

This was my going to be my biggest mistake.
