Author's note:
SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU ARE DONE READING THE 'And the Winner is..."
Or... If you haven't read that at all, then it's completely fine. 😊This imagine is built upon the story 'And the Winner is...'. The only thing you have to know, is that Lauren is Michael's wife, they have two kids and she has a thing for his goldpants (don't we all...). And Michael likes to take 'advantage' of it every once in a while.

"Miiiichael? Can you please...? I'm losing my mind here!"
I heard Lauren shouting from the living room. She was busy decorating the Christmas tree together with the kids, but judging after the sounds, it didn't go very well. Katie was old enough to know that she shouldn't knock the tree over, but her little brother, Aiden, didn't understand quite what 'no' means yet. Or, he only understood sometimes. And now, was obviously one of the times he didn't.
"MICHAEL!" she yelled, and I hurried to finish doing what I had in mind.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!"
And not even a minute after, I walked into the livingroom to help. Lauren was busy trying to keep Aiden from breaking another bauble, and Katie was putting all the Christmas ornaments on one side of the tree, only. And I just couldn't help but to giggle. I couldn't believe how happy this woman has made me! Now, we were a family of four, and we were even talking about trying for another little one. Life just couldn't be better!
I picked up Katie, so she could reach higher up on the tree, and she beamed towards me when I gave her another plastic snowflake.
"Look, daddy! Up there!" she exclaimed eagerly, pointing her tiny hand at the top of the tree. And I raised both of my eyebrows, when I saw what she meant. Instead of a star, there was a sparkling figure of...
Me.
"Finally, Michael. There you aaahhh..."
Her mouth fell open and eyes lowered. She noticed. How could I ever doubt that she didn't?
"T-the g-goldpants... Michael, the kids. We can't..." she stuttered, blinking her eyes slowly. I hadn't used them in a while on purpose, even though she asked me about them a couple of times. I wanted to save it for special occasions, and today was one of those days. But right now, I pretended like nothing, because I knew that would drive her crazy.
"What happened to the star on the top?" I asked plainly, hiding a smirk.
"Star? What star?"
I pointed at the top and bit my lip, not to laugh. And Lauren swallowed and cleared her voice.
"Oh. That. The star..."
She forced her eyes away from me, and lightly shook her head.
"The star! There is a star on the top. The biggest star ever. Right kids?"
She was so cute, trying to avoid to look at me while she was blushing. But I could feel her eyes stealing a glimpse of my behind now and then, and a couple of times I even caught her, returning her gaze with a wink.
"I love you baby, but don't you think that..." I said, nodding towards the top of the tree, but she interrupted me.
"You don't like it?"
Her eyes filled with disappointment."No, no. I do like it. Thank you."
I couldn't get myself to say that it felt odd to see myself on the top of a tree like that, so instead, I walked up to her and gave her a kiss. And I chuckled on the inside, when I heard her inhale sharply. I loved that I still had the same impact on her today, several years after we met, as I did the first day. And to me? God, she was everything to me! She was Lauren. The weird girl, with her many stories, and I loved her higher than life itself.
