Murder

At that moment, Jeremy came to his senses. His eye hurt so much, he was close to passing out now. He looked around, bewildered at what he did. He ran to Mago and scooped him up, as the stuffing leaked out. He held the doll close and bawled into its soft fabric skin. He sat there, clutching the one-eyed doll for a while, until he looked up and saw the chest box key.

It was coated in blood, but not rust yet. Jeremy picked it up with trembling hands and wiped it on the hem of his shirt. He looked around on his body to make sure he hadn't hurt himself anywhere else. Then he noticed his tail.

It had a kink in it

Jeremy gasped. He didn't know what a kink in his tail meant. He tried to straighten it out, but it was no use; the bone was set that way. He panicked, thinking he broke his tail, and stopped for a moment.

"How is my tail broken? It never hit anything.." Jeremy questioned.

Stranger was at the door, unlocking it. Jeremy startled at the noise, but turned from the opening. Confused, Stranger walked in and tried to turn Jeremy around. Then he noticed the blood spots. Jeremy could tell because of the small gasp he had made.

He'd only heard Stranger's voice a few times. Not once has he heard such fear in him. Let alone any emotion except anger and monotony.

"W-3hæt hävê yœū døñē..¿" Stranger quietly asked.

Jeremy began to smile. A small one at that, but it slowly widened until he was on the verge of insanity.

"I m a d e m y s e l f b e a u t i f u l !" Jeremy said.

He turned around to face the mortified Stranger, chest box key in hand.

He lunged at Stranger, stabbing until there was only a limp, bleeding body before him.

"Heh, hehhhh, ha ha Ha HA HaHaHaHaHAHAHA!" Jeremy laughed until he was dizzy in the head. He then took Mago, his mother's necklace, and Stranger's tie, and walked outside, and away from the hell he'd lived in for so long.
