Stuck In Time

Two - Comfort

*Andrew's POV*

I woke up to the sound of people arguing, which is never good. I must have fallen asleep on the couch, when we were watching Ponyo.

"Luke, just pick him up and carry him to Ashton's room. It's not even that hard. He's small and skinny, so he's not heavy." I heard Calum say.

I heard a sigh, and then Luke protesting.

"Why can't you do it?"

"Ashton fell asleep on me."

"Just wake Ashton up."

"Luke, seriously, just take him to bed. Ashton isn't very nice when he gets woken up, you know that."

There was a pause, and then I felt arms lifting me up. I had to restrain myself from screaming, because I knew who it was.

"Damn, kid. Do you even eat?" Luke muttered.

I inwardly frowned when he swore. Mummy says swearing is bad.

Luke carried me to what I assumed was Ashton's room, bringing me in and setting me on the bed. I heard him switch off the light and waited until his footsteps faded to open my eyes. I looked around the room and shivered. It wasn't like my room back home. It was... old. It looked like a teenager's room, and I didn't like that. I could hear talking down the hall, and I'm guessing Ash woke up, because I could hear him complaining about being tired. I jumped when I heard the door creak open, hiding under the covers.

"Andy? You awake?" A soft voice asked.

I sighed in relief, realizing it was just Calum, and poked my head out from under the covers.

"Hey, buddy, what's wrong?" He asked, coming inside the room and closing the door behind him.

I shrugged and looked away as he sat down on the bed next to me.

"Not used to being here?" Calum guessed.

I looked up at him and nodded. He gave me a small smile and pulled me into a hug, which I gladly accepted.

"Do you wanna watch another movie to help you feel better?" He asked, and I nodded.

He got up and went over to the television, which was on a little stand, and searched the movies on the shelf. He picked one and put it in, before returning to me and settling in next to me. I smiled and cuddled into him, and he wrapped his arms around me. It was very comfortable. I noticed that he had put in My Neighbor Totoro, which made me smile even more. I have a Totoro plushie at home.

Eventually, my eyes began to droop, so I closed them, feeling sleepy. The last thing I felt was a soft kiss placed on my forehead, followed by,

"Goodnight, Andy."
