-Kenzie's POV-
I woke up in a hospital bed with cuts and bruises all over my body.
The mental hospital was on the other half of this building.
I had to go see Maddie.
I ran down to the lobby and asked the girl how to get to the mental hospital. She looked at me strangely but showed me directions. I ran towards the hospital and found another girl at a desk.
"What room is Maddie Ziegler staying in?" I asked innocently.
"3B, but she's not allowed to have visitors at the moment." The women replied. She gestured towards a bolted door with a password machiene next to it. I hid next to a plant and waited for the people in white suits typed in the password and walked into the hallway. I found 3B and walked in.
"What are you doing here?" Maddie hissed. She was pale and her hair looked like a rats nest.
"I came for answers." I whispered. Maddie looked around frantically. She saw the cuts on my body.
"I didn't have time to cut down the crosses in yours, moms, and the bathroom." She said to herself.
"Why is that a problem?"
"The crosses summon them, they haunt the rooms that the crosses cover, explaining your cuts, my black eye and... Did anything happened to mom?" She groaned.
"They-whoever they are-clawed her shoulder, but I think her stitches will make it ok." I hoped.
"Tell mom you have to move back home, before they get inside your soul."
The door opened and the men in white started to pull me out.
"Wait! Maddie! Who are they?" I screamed.
The men slammed the door before Maddie can tell me all of the answers.
