❥ Chapter 2: Unbelievable ❥

Luke's POV (A/N even numbers are Luke and odd numbers are Samantha)

A/N 2 - This story is rated Pg-13 because of the language which you should watch out for. If you're sensitive to it, maybe you shouldn't read? I'm Sorry.

A/N 3 - This story is fictional even the tour dates are inaccurate lol. Is that okay?

"I can't believe it. I cannot fucking believe it! Where the hell is it!" I yell rampaging around the room.

"Man! You have got to calm down!" I subconsciously hear Calum yell.

"Luke, stop for a minute will you!? You're even swearing more than usual." I hear Michael call.

Ashton grabs me by the shoulders and stands in front of me.

"We WILL find your guitar Luke! It WILL be totally fine. It WILL be in one piece, but just for now you have to calm down and breath." He says holding my gaze reassuringly.

I feel a hand on both my shoulders from behind just as Ashton lets go.

I look to my left. Calum. I look to my right. Michael.

"Let's retrace our steps from yesterday. We're going to be here for a month on vacation." Michael says trying to soothe me.

"That means we have a ton of time to find it, even if we don't find it tonight." Calum adds smiling at me.

I look at Ashton and he nods reassuringly.

I take a deep breath. "Okay." I agree.

We go around the Courtyard Marriott hotel. It was close to Central Park and we were checking the entire hotel. Rooms we had been in, the pool area, the cafeteria, the lobby, near the ice machine, and we even asked tons of tourists and staff to see if they had seen it. And I was freaking out because I now knew it probably wasn't in the hotel.

"Where did we go after we left the hotel yesterday?" Ashton asks scrunching his nose as if trying to remember.

"We only went to that park remember? It was already getting late and we just wanted some fresh air." Calum says raising his right hand in the like he was still in school, trying to ask a question.

"Oh yeah! The small park near Central!" Michael yells.

"Let's go!" I grab Michael and Ashton's wrist and drag them out the door with Calum in close quarters behind us.

We search the entire park and we couldn't find it. I'm pretty sure I'm about to cry. That guitar has important memories and meaning attached to it.

"Wait! Where's that bench Luke was playing it at!?" Ashton freaks and the rest of us freeze.

I sink onto the bench.

It's not here.

"Let's go check the police department. If its not here someone probably turned it in as lost property. People do it all the time." Calum smiles at me.

As they drag me to the NYPD station I'm still freaking out. They're doing their best to get me to stop but I'm barely breathing.

I want my guitar back.

I. Fucking. Need. It.

Millions of questions are running through my mind.

Did the weather ruin it?

Is it the same as I left it?

Has it been vandalized or broken?

And many more. But the absolute worst ran through my mind.

What if the police department doesn't even have it. I stop in the middle of the sidewalk. Right in from of the NYPD and my mates turn around and look at me when they realized I've stopped.

"Luke. C'mon. You're guitar is waiting."

While we wait for the officer to check the inventory of lost items I fidget in my seat. I'm on edge, I can barely breath, and I need that guitar back!

The boys are still trying to comfort me but it really isn't working.

The officer comes back out and I jump out of my seat.

Then I realize with a sad stare he isn't holding onto my familiar black guitar case and the look on his face says it all.

"I apologize Mr. Hemmings but it seems that . . ."
