Chapter 2
I woke up to loud barking and whining. I opened my eyes and looked around, I was in a cage, and the cage was four sided; three of the sides were wood and the front of the cage was made out of strong steel and a latch, again made out of steel.
I got slowly to my feet and walked cautiously to the front of the cage and looked out. I saw one row of four cages like mine on the floor, then on top of them was three other cages like mine and in every cage was a pitbull in the front.
The pitbulls were big, bulky, and they were barking and growling at each other. As soon as they saw me, all of them went silent and looked at me. Compared to me, these dogs were the picture of heath and I was a thin, pitiful version of a pitbull.
I noticed all the pitbulls were males I was the only female. All the males have terrible scars. As I was inspecting them, all of a sudden a door at the end of the hall opened and in came the guy that kidnapped me.
He comes to the first cage of the 7 cages across from me. He gave each one of them something I couldn’t quite see, but I smelt steak. When he came to my cage he opened the door and dropped a big fat steak in front of me.
Later that night the man came back in and took one of the males. All I heard that night was growling and the cheering of humans.
*********
This was a regular pattern, but each night he would take a different male and they would come back with multiple bloody gashes and worse injuries. But they would never speak to anyone about it, I couldn’t figure out why they never talked about what happened, they only growled at each other never even looked at each other.
One day after my breakfast of steak again (not that I’m complaining), the man which is now my master, came to my cage and took me out. I’d had the opportunity to gain enough weight, that I was a little over normal weight. Master looked me over and smiled with satisfaction.
“Time for training.” he said.
