If y'all haven't seen it Wattpad is releasing something called NEXT BETA which I refuse to take part part in!
So basically what it is my readers will have to pay something called coin to read my stories, which one has to buy with their own money. This is a way to help fund & support writers so they can write more & not worry about money & things like that.
I don't think it's a bad idea I just don't like the fact that it's not optional to pay or not. I joined Wattpad so people who don't know me or can't pay to buy a book I write, could read my stories! I loved the fact that it was free for all.
Sure it's would be nice to get money for doing what I love but I want it to be my readers to decide that for them selves. It's the same for votes, comments, & reading list additions. I don't want to force you to pay to read my book, because I put my book on here so you didn't have to pay to read it! You all pay me enough just by reading my story, I don't need money for the satisfaction to write having you all is more than enough for me!
For this reason I am leaving my stories free to the public. I enjoy writing & I don't need money to make me enjoy writing more! If anyone finds that you will end up needing coin to read my stories please tell me via Wattpad.
