Not a chapter but an explanation that could be beneficial if you read.

Okay so I got a comment this morning asking if Jimin was Luna because he was mated to an alpha. So I'm here to explain how that all works.

Don't read if you haven't read Kim Seokjin!

One becomes Luna if they are mated to a head Alpha. An head alpha can be any rank as long as they are part of the head family.

The level of authority (True blood, Alpha, Beta, Beta submissive, and Omega) can come into play (as it does for the case of Namjoon and Seokjin); and, depending on the pack, gender can also have a role (whether your male or female there are some packs that can be discriminatory of a gender. For example in one pack it may be against the rules for a female to become a head Alpha but in other it might a male. Keep in mind this isn't true for all packs).

If the head Alpha is a lower rank then their mate there are 3 categories that need to be looked at 1) geneder. As I said before there are some packs who don't approve of a certain gender 2) if the pack has any specific rules if this does happen (usually they don't as it's very uncommon) 3) if both categories are passed it ultimately becomes the head Alphas decision to make.

So in Seokjin and Namjoons case

1) Namjoon is a boy which means no gender rules are discriminatory towards him

2) in their pack rules it does state that their head Alpha is the son of the previous Alpha (even in Seokjin's case he is considered a son), but as their pack is mostly straight it doesn't say anything about the a son-in-law ruling. He is still technically considered a son and would be given the Head Alpha position if a) seokjin were a girl and b) was the oldest actual daughter. Seokjins father wanted to raise his own alpha so he knows his pack will be safe in the chance that he dies, because someone who shares the same views as him is ruling.

3) so now that leaves us with seokjin's decision. Okay so since there are no rules of a son-in-law to a male head Alpha, Seokjin has to keep power, which One might think means he has to keep the head Alpha title, but like I said it's his decision to make. In their case he knew Namjoon and trusted him. If it was anyone else he would have kept the title, but he knew his pack would be in better hands if they were in those of his mate. Seokjin's goal in life was to become a head alpha but it became apparent to him when Namjoon started spending more time with him that Seokjin realized rank didn't matter but the ability to have others listen to you did. Don't get me wrong many listened to seokjin but many more listened to Namjoon not because he was an alpha, because we all (or will all) know what jk's father was like, Namjoon held no power over anyone and he wasn't going to make anyone listen because that's not who he is, and that's why so many people do, because no one has ever met such a naturally caring Alpha. So seokjin gave Namjoon the title of head Alpha but do to the rules of their pack didn't give him all the power. Seokjin can take over all power whenever he wishes and can Vito any decision Namjoon makes.

Many people are fascinated with the couple because the Head Alpha and actual alpha is forced to have a submissive side towards his Luna when it comes to running their pack, but the thing with them is Namjoon seems to hold no pride when it comes to seokjin and does it willingly. Namjoon is considered a rare Alpha because he holds many qualities a stereotypical Alpha shouldn't.

It's actually the reason I try and makes sure that Say Namjoon and Seokjin's pack house (I'm sure their are times I've slipped up but I try my best)

I hope that clears any misunderstanding with how the Alpha-Luna (and somewhat beta-gama) relationship(s) work. Also expect a chapter soon!
