6-year-old Byung-hun held the crying boy in his arms worriedly trying to make him stop crying.
"Don't cry don't cry, I'll- I'll get you ice cream if you stop!" Byung-hun said doing anything to make his crush stop crying.
"Ice cweam" Hoseok asked wiping his tears, and Byung-hun eagerly nodded trying not to smile at how Hoseok still couldn't pronounce his r's correctly.
"Mint chocolate chip just how you like!" Byung-hun again convinced. Hoseok nodded his head smiling
"Okay."
And with that, they walked to their local ice cream shop.
"Hoseok-Ah go find a seat I'll get the ice cream," Byung-hun said letting go of Hoseok's hand. Byung-hun walked up to the front.
"Hi can I get one Mint chocolate chip and one cookie's and cream please"
~4 years later~
Byung-hun paid for the ice cream and took the two cones back to where Hoseok was sitting.
"One mint chocolate chip for the prince," Byung-hun said handing the ice cream over to Hoseok who scoffed at the nickname but accepted it with a big smile.
"Thank's Hyung!" Hoseok said before he started eating his ice cream. Byung-hun laughed softly as he watched the boy he liked, devour his ice cream.
After 10 minutes they decided to walk home. As they approached Hoseok's house Byung-hun got nervous. Today was the day he was going to confess to Hoseok and he was terrified of rejection.
Just as Hoseok starts to climb up the stairs to his house he feels a tug on his hand. He turns and sees Byung-hun fidgeting with the bottom of his sweater.
"Ah- Hoseokie I-I" Byung-hun starts of his nerves getting the best of him. He shakes his head and looks Hoseok in the eyes with determination. Hoseok is still confused as to what's going on.
"Jung Hoseok, I like you a lot. As in the like of more than friends. Will you go on a date with me? I mean you don't have to, it's your choice. I will be fine if you say no. I-" Byung-hun suddenly feels a small flick on his forehead. He looks at Hoseok pouting and he rubs his forehead. Hoseok giggles.
"That was for taking so long to ask. And this..."
Hoseok leans and gives a small kiss on the older's nose
"This is my answer"
Byung-hun was shocked
"Is that a yes?" He asked and Hoseok laughed
