Letters to Stan Lee

Stan Lee showed us life.
He showed us that life can be an endless road we have to travel, and sometimes we get stuff on our way that we can't ignore.

I start watching MARVEL movies for the first time when I was 8 years old. I think wolverine was the first, and from that moment MARVEL had a giant place in my heart, it even helped me with my life outside Wattpad.

On my 15 they discovered I had a depression, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to deal with so many problems that went through my head, I wanted to just throw myself infront of a train or just cut my wrist open. I have small cuts on my arms and the bigger ones on places you can't see with clothes on. After a year my parents finally understood what my real problem was.

I am Bisexual. (now more Pansexual)

I hated myself for loving girls because I thought it was not normal, so instead of talking to my parents about it, I went to cutting, and smoking.

Even after years, I feel like this depression and anxiety isn't gone, it's still there waiting for me to fall again so it can take it's grip on me again and maybe this time, I won't stop, and maybe die.

But even after all the problems, the depression, the anxiety, the cutting, I could always to back to MARVEL, because in a strange way, they helped me. Stan Lee helped me.

Seeing all those character with each a different problem and yet they still can be heroes, so why I can't?

That's another reason why I went to the military. I wanted to show people that even though, the road towards your destiny is hard, maybe fücked up sometimes, there is always a special place for you.

So I want not only thank Stan Lee for making MARVEL, but I also wanna thank him for the lives he saves, for saving my life.

So Stan Lee, if you're listening and having a drink with your wife, I want to thank you for being you, and that we will never forget you.
