━ from TheWinterBuckyBarnes  ━━

My dad introduced me to Marvel movies at a rather young age, such as The First Avenger and Thor, ones that he considered appropriate.  I have to admit, I have only ever read 1 comic book in my life, but for me, the movies are enough. I'm not going to say I have a terrible life, because I don't. I'm not going through depression or anything like that, and I'm pretty happy. But movies have always been my escape, and Marvel movies take the cake.  I get completely immersed in them, and for a few hours, it's like being a part of them.

It is truly amazing that one man's imagination can be so powerful, so layered. He has created an amazing universe for all of us to enjoy, and for some, it may be even more personal than that.  Characters like Captain America, who can show you that you can always be braver. Bucky Barnes, who shows you can find the strength to carry on, no matter what. Bruce Banner, trying to control the demons inside you. And those are just to name a few. I could probably list every character he brought to life and have something to say about them. His movies are realistic, but just slightly out of reach, always leaving us satisfied, but wanting just a little bit more.

It's still fun as I watch Marvel movies I have yet to see and have things click, the pieces put together. But every time a piece clicks, another mystery or question pops up. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what's happening, and I don't think I ever will. I may get most of the pieces, and we can all theorize as much as we want, but I can almost guarantee that there are still pieces that never left his mind.

Even now that he's gone we will all treasure his life's work, and the legacy he left behind. He gave us something to hold on to, and every time we watch one of his amazing movies, we will think about him. How his cameos always made us laugh. How exciting it was to find the spot when Stan Lee arrived. That just isn't something that can be forgotten.

So from me, this is my goodbye. You will always have a place in my mind and heart as the man that gave me another world to explore. A man who's imagination could really never be topped. A great man. A good one.
