𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 ❝ 𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 ❞
I LOOK at you from afar in the library, your radiant skin glowing in the natural rays of the sun. Tousled hair, dimples poking out from your cheeks. You were utterly magnificent to my eyes. Your smile brightens up the mood whenever I'm around you. It's intoxicating. I needed you to know how I felt. The way you laugh at my meaningless jokes or the profound conversations we have over the phone till midnight.
I sigh, as you walk up to me, the familiar smile which makes my heart beat faster. You are slightly taller than me, feeling intimidated by how fragile I look compared to how broad you were. You tease me a lot about our height difference, causing constant incessant bickering between the two of us on a daily basis. I still find you magnificent none the less.
"Did you talk to her for me?" you asked. My heart drops, reality rushing back to me as I bring back my thoughts from the fantasy I was imaging in my mind. A fantasy which will never come true. After you asked me whether or not Asami was single, I realised I could never be with you.
"I told you to just be yourself. You guys are friends." I shake my head at him, chuckling to myself.
"I did and it's actually starting to work. Thank you Jin for helping me out with Asami." he smiled. A dagger twisting into my heart, my feelings unrequited.
"That's what friends are for." The words felt bitter in my mouth. Poison to say the least.
I want to be with you, to call you the one person I love with all my heart. However, I was just a friend, a friend helping you with trying to date my best friend. I wish you fell for me instead, Namjoon.
